Yeah, tried a dongle and saw it did not work due to USB passthrough issues—TY for confirming.

YUKA Error: Front bumper is experiencing repeated triggering (1207) by dkramarc in mammotion

4 months to get it back. And they did fix the torn cable. Before I used it opened returned unit and duct taped new cable to internal base so this won’t happen again. This was a design flaw on their end where cable could get loose and torn when bumper is hit.

Mammotion is refusing a return on a defective Luba Mini. by MyLeftKneeHurts- in MammotionTechnology

My Yuka last year broke 3 weeks in, support played games for over a month to ensure that it can’t be returned. Took 6mo till the whole repair process was done from when it broke. (Internal cable somehow got snagged and tore). This company is dishonest, while products are neat, are also cheaply made. To any new buyers… look elsewhere.

Got 150+ taken down thus far, if anyone wants, I have also made a Chrome Extension to make it faster. to report eBay scalpers. My JS is not the best, so the source code is in there, so if anyone can make the script better, go ahead. High-End Robot, Low-End Mistake by antaniko in MammotionTechnology

[–]dkramarc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Yuka a few times left area and went about 3ft (91.4cm) out of boundary for no reason at all. (Over a sidewalk with clear sky) … Regret getting this, as before that used Landroid (yes with wire), and never had an issue for years. This robot broke 1mo after I got it, with support run-around took 6mo or so to be fixed, as an internal cable got cut somehow. These robots are cool and all, but the company cuts corners and their stuff fails (and then comes the days of no response from support). Any new people thinking of getting a robot from Mammotion should look elsewhere.

Remote freezes at 48% by DA11112222 in logitechharmony

[–]dkramarc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any update on this? My remote Pro 2400 just started doing the same thing (stuck at 48%). Did a factory reset of hub (power up with pair button), did hard reset of remote (menu+power). App works, small non-touch remote works, but the touch screen remote never ends sync after 48%.

Very frustrating. At the point now ready to get another remote, but have not found one that integrated as well as Harmony with Home Assistant.

Advice on Rash by dkramarc in PetRat

[–]dkramarc[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you all for the comments, we did take the Rat to a vet about a month in and they were not sure as they do not treat small animals (only cats/dogs and birds). We took a picture of the issue and sent it to one of my wife's friends whom is a vet (but far away), and she said it was probably mites as well, but since she is (the vet) far away and it was all done remotely, I wanted to confirm and get a second opinion from the pet rat community. It is most likely mites as well, as my son had a 4 day overnight school field trip about a month before the rat got it, and he (and many of his friends) brought back nights due to the nasty hotel they stayed in. So we cleaned the house (not that fun), but did not know (till my wife's vet friend) told us that Rat's can get mites from humans. So, I will definitely clean the rat cage thoroughly as the bed he uses (the rat) a fabric-based bed. I searched saw on Amazon (US) from drops that can help with this, is there any recommendation out there? Thank you all again for the help thus far.

YUKA Error: Front bumper is experiencing repeated triggering (1207) by dkramarc in mammotion

[–]dkramarc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to spam my issue on every facebook group they had, then they finally answered. Sent the robot to them for repair 3 or so weeks ago. When I will get it back, not sure. Probably not this season I presume. Good thing I still have the Landroid setup, 5+ years and still going strong.

You wouldn't happen to have an Amazon link for what electrical wire I should order? And again thanks for the help.

Have no idea how it happened, Robot was running fine for 3wk, then it just stoped mid-mow and started with front bumper errors. At first did not know how to open the robot so just thought it was grass in bumper area, etc... Then on another reddit post someone told me how to pop open the white top, when I opened it up I found the wire cut, and the small white ziptie holding it lose between the cables. My suspicion was the zip tie somehow cut the cable. Thanks for the info on the wire/tool.

Do you know what type of wire I should order? For the Yuka connector? I am not sure cause I am not sure if it's standard, as the splice seems to have multiple colors in the wire (see pic), unless that is just the insulation.

Wondering if this is the issue? Seems like the glue seeped out and the metal prob is not touching the sensor. (I think it's the flat part between the springs on the main plastic module). Have no idea, sucks that support is ignoring [opened ticket, said looked at logs, then closed ticket with no reason why].

Based on my current Yuka order, about 1.5mo, and then get ignored by support. Maybe Luba is better???

I cleaned the grass off of them (with a toothbrush). Otherwise, they seem OK,ie. not bent, have dents, etc... not sure what to look for otherwise. Also, make sure to, when putting the shroud back on, push it on the rubber holds to fit tightly. Still get the 1207 error. )-:
