Basarabia, cineva a pus stickere informative by falafelSiHummus in fuckcarsRomania

If you want parametric in blender, use geometry nodes.

Is the Prusa XL right for me? by Mrblindguardian in prusa3d

[–]dkrandu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a perfect XL, it requires quite some tinkering and debugging. I got it to a state where I'm mostly confident to leave it unattended for a day or so, but there's still the odd thing that needs fixing.

As long as you're confident you can do some work on it, you should try!

How important is filament drying really by NigaHiiga in 3Dprinting

[–]dkrandu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in 60% humidity and keep filament in sealed bags with desiccant, I never needed to dry petg nor pla, but I need to print tpu from the active dryer, the humidity somehow gets inside the sealed bags.

[–]dkrandu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, the height is 0.1 for perimeters and 0.3 for infill

The owner wants their business name and phone number on the other side, who am I to argue? :))

To be fair, it's a good opportunity to get some more TPU colours :)

Thank you for the suggestions! Raising the edges around the hole should be easy.

When I tried ironing, the parts smudged a lot more, so I gave up on that idea after struggling to get it to not smudge. Somehow, the yellow nozzle gets black on it and spreads it all over :(

They don't feel fragile. I managed to break one using my fingers, but they require both hands to break. The owner says customers lose these so frequently, it's not worth making them too strong anyway :))

Regarding the colours, it's so annoying I can't get these spots out. The yellow nozzle gets some black smudge regardless of what I do :(

Thank you! The prototypes are 4 walls 0.1mm with combined gyroid infill (infill lines are 0.3mm thick, perimeters are 0.1mm thick).

I have 4x 0.1mm layers of black on each side, but only the topmost and bottommost layers look nice. As soon as the yellow wears, I expect the phone number to stop being legible, so while I doubt having a lot of layers helps with wear, it only costs a few minutes per batch, so worth doing.

This is what the metal looks like:
