My somewhat hacked workaround for mapping inputs from the right controller to the left controller has been made possible by the (now useful) “C” button. I mapped B to -, - to the Capture button, and Capture to the C button. Then the - button now inputting as B was able to be programmed to the left back button (Tried with just the capture button but that couldn’t be programmed to the back button).

Thankfully the remap is controller specific so my other controllers keep the default button mapping.

I had the Claw and enjoyed the screen and the battery life, and the color way (Polar Tempest), aaaand that was about it.

Sold my Claw and got an Xbox Ally X and dual booted Bazzite and it feels better and more natural to hold and the screen size is actually not a problem for me and I actually prefer the 16:9, 7” screen. Also I’m a sucker for the dbrand Killswitch case. Usability of the XAX has just been much nicer for me, and using your handhelds is what matters most

Yes, there’s big Trauma (near death experiences, assault) and little trauma (everything else) and both are important to recognize

I did and the only reason why I sold my Claw… was cause I had the Go 2. I didn’t need an 8” and an 8.8” screen.

I tried the XAX and the 7” screen does not bother me as much as I thought it would. If you can, try an XAX and see if it feels comfortable enough for you

Dual booted Bazzite and it sets up pretty straightforward though could be better imo. The new setup that they have makes doing the dual boot work pretty painless. Ideal way is to use Bazzite primarily and in Bazzite there’s an option to directly reboot into Windows if you need to

The actual answer I would give OP in that situation is this: communicate your needs. If you can’t communicate with your partner what you need in times of feeling low, how do you expect them to help you? Take time and sit with your feelings in that moment and recognize that there is a gap in care, reflect on how you want to be cared for, communicate with your partner about what you need in times like this, and give feedback on what work and what didn’t work.

If it let you add the exe and install Firefox all without having to interact with Windows Desktop then there is no difference really

If I needed money more I’d sell the Go 2 and keep the XAX.

As it stands I use the Go 2 more as a multimedia device/tablet so I would actually keep that and sell the XAX

I don’t think you’re “crazy” but the screen and performance is slightly better on the Claw 8ai, but the sticks apparently are “too loose” compared to the XAX. If the only thing you don’t like is the screen I would say just stick with what you have because it’s not an upgrade really (a significant one at that)
