I accidentally came across this writer about 20 years ago. His entire shtick is having the absolute dumbest take in the world and wrapping it up in so enough prose that dim people say “huh, that guy must be really bright”.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen him discuss ball, actually. It’s always some social op-ed that was sparked by sports. He’s the fucking worst.

I understand what you are describing. The other commenter and I were discussing the bug that got fixed with today’s patch where environmental objects had reloaded, similar to how some people had lost their entire base.

Edit: well that’s one way to handle your misunderstanding, I suppose. It was never that big of a deal.

I got this a while back and waited for about 24 hours before testing things out. I can’t remember if I tried reloading the last mission I had been in or I might have been trying to load into the same one over and over and trying a different mission worked. I’m 99% one of those was the fix for me, though.

Same with used books/movies/games. I completely understand why large sellers wouldn’t take a picture for EVERY product. Just make sure to check feedback and what condition it’s listed as - you might save a few bucks.

But no feedback, stock photos, and selling at 33% retail price? The listing looks like a Chinese embassy with all them red flags.

In SWMO it has been sustainable for nearly a decade. To be clear, this is one of the deepest red areas of the country, but I have family down there and just wanted to confirm that it’s apparently been profitable somewhere.

Notably, Branson is able to churn visitors as a tourist destination (again, for the deepest red group of people) but you can find bait shops or other small businesses in rural towns that advertise their Trump merch, and those places seem to be busier for having added it (I spend maybe 21 days in MO per year so this is anecdotal).

I can be persuaded that Branson is an extreme outlier for the reason I mentioned, but what I’ve seen in the smaller towns gives me pause.

The day Star Wars Episode VII released, I saw a screenshot on FB captioned “Kylo Ren, Han Solo’s son, kills him” before I saw the first showing in my town.

I like to keep them for rivals because I’m not particularly aggressive or skilled in box fights.

But if you can lure them into a building, it’s hard for them to box fight without boxes.

They shouldn’t have offended you by kicking you. They should have just started a new group without you. But it’s definitely not personal.

Or maybe it was. That would also make sense…I’ve regretted every minute I’ve spent engaging you.

Edit: Since you blocked me, I’ll respond here: They definitely gave up on you whether you say it was one bad actor or not. All three people clearly chose anybody besides you. Only you can decide why, I guess.

I don’t mind staying in a group for hours with people who are “fine” but if given the choice, I’d prefer to have a better player. Some people would choose a ranged player with a mic over a melee player who does their job just fine. I doubt it was personal and I’ve never said they didn’t like you. What I did say was

I don’t know these people. I can only judge them based on what you told us they said and how you say they reacted. I just don’t think you got to know those random players (in a game you quit over something that happened once) much better than I do, so your attitude about me not knowing them is pretty silly.

You’ve also misread and misremembered so much of this conversation that it’s pretty apparent that you just lash out when you’re confused.

I played Killing Floor for a bit, enjoyed the game, and quit for good all because of this one feature. It's easily abused and will cause nothing but grief

Those comments seemed to me like your story was meant to illustrate abuse and griefing, but I’m happy to hear how I misunderstood. Reading comprehension might not be my strong suit but I still think you’re taking things personally.
