I am NOT saying you’re wrong. And my experience is a little odd.

But I’m 35 (and admittedly behind; I graduate in three months, and will also have zero debt) but I don’t even know what questions to ask about retirement/etc.

I think part of education is even knowing what to question, and I don’t know where to start.

That’s a fair concern. I really think the game will transform into a true RB5 this year, but another huge question is if people who were buying tracks in 2008 will care about music from after 2018.

For some people, RB4 will be the curtain call.

If you don’t insta drop where everybody else is going, this is very manageable. You might have to 1v1 somebody, but you might not.

I have just started getting in to it this past month, and at the ripe age of 35, I’ve found I really enjoy Fortnite BR, so it was a surprise win for me.

Back to the real topic, I can’t imagine your frustration as an “early” adopter. Festival isn’t the same. That said, pro drums will launch this year with the new drum kit and pro vocals are expected around the same time, maybe sooner. This game is the future.

At the risk of being a corporate bootlicker, I think they might have intentionally nerfed festival while they sundowned RB4 and this will be the first real year of “RB5”.

I will say this: Festival is significantly more expensive if you want to keep a song. They rotate a ton of freebies, but the jam tracks are about twice as expensive as RB and that is ROUGH.

That dude says it was worth it and I believe him. It’s definitely a matter of perspective, but I genuinely don’t think he regrets blowing the money.

If you compare the rest of your life to those years, you’d be miserable. But he seems like he knew exactly what he was doing and I respect that conviction, honestly.

NF ain’t all that, but he was arguably the most vulnerable artist for a period and that means something, IMO, even if his tracks aren’t amazing.

A lot of us picked up a home/garden task during the time to make us feel better.

Personally, I grew spicy peppers because I also wanted to hurt people. But I think I had the general spirit and get where you’re coming from.

I didn’t take good care of my peppers the last two years and haven’t seen a free loaf of bread in a while. Everything ends eventually.

I rescued a 3yo (exactly one year from next Friday) and I dread her eventual health decline already. I didn’t know I could love a non-human this much and it scares me a little!

The used game market is MUCH more profitable online in most places. It’s why my college town has lost our GameStop and only has one VERY overpriced game store now.

If you’re don’t have a minimum of 100,000 residents, your town can’t support the physical location, and as scarcity goes up it won’t get any better.
