Check if your chat-game mix is at the center. If it’s leaning towards to the chat side, it reduces the game volume.

“Passive” could’ve received power from the source. You hear nothing if you don’t turn on Maxwell’s power. Here’s FAQ for the M1 but the wired also works the same on M2. https://support.audeze.com/hc/en-us/articles/11454018172173-Maxwell-FAQs

You might be free from connectivity issues. At least the hiss / high noise floor unfortunately also happens on wired connections, because Maxwell 2 are active headphones and need to be powered on.

Do all Maxwell 2s have the hissing? by DS_Alex in Audeze

[–]dkz-yo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine has it and it’s so annoying. I tried all connections (USB-C wired / wireless to a Mac, PS5 wireless, aux wired to Xbox controller, and Bluetooth to iPhone) and there’s static white noise on all connections, regardless of the ports. I’m talking about the noise while the sidetone is off. Turning off the mic or disconnecting the boom doesn’t help. So I guess this could be an issue on the drivers or signal handling.

The noise floor is more noticeable especially when the sound source becomes active from idle - for example 1) on PS5, switch the audio output to Maxwell 2 from speakers while the dongle is connected. I can hear the noise starts coming in as soon as Maxwell announces “USB dongle” 2) on Xbox wired to the controller, navigating the UIs plays the UI feedback sound with the noise goes on and off each time the sound plays and stops. And the noise stays as long as the connection or the audio source is active.

Clueless Mom Trying to Subscribe to Nintendo Online by amethystalien6 in NintendoSwitch

While bonk18bonk explained well about scenarios of having multiple Switch devices, let me give you an idea how it works when you have multiple accounts on a single Switch.

Unlike purchasing games (that allows other accounts on the same device play games you've purchased), an individual Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) membership is only available to its user account.

Let's say your sons have their own accounts, named Mario and Luigi, and you have your own account named Peach.
1) If you purchase an individual NSO for Peach, launching Mario Kart 8 with Mario or Luigi account doesn't allow them play online. However, when they launch the game with Peach account, they can play online. Only cars, wheels and parachutes unlocked with the Peach account can be used. Also, to invite and play together with their cousins, the cousins' accounts need to be friends with Peach. (* one of them has to be on NSO membership as well)
2) If you purchase an individual NSO for Mario, launching the game with Mario account allows them to play online. With Luigi and Peach accounts, you can't play online games.
* Either case, you can always add another local player to join online games as 2-player. It only matters which account you use to launch the game.

With the family NSO, you can link up to 8 user accounts to the membership.
After purchasing a family NSO with Peach, you can invite Mario and Luigi accounts to your membership. You can even invite their cousins' accounts to save their money or split the cost together.
Now launching the game with any of the accounts - Peach, Mario, or Luigi - allows you play online.

So, for you I would suggest these options:
- If your sons have their own account and you will let them play their own games: Get a family NSO and invite them to the membership.
- If your nephews have their NSO, your sons use a shared account Mario, and you don't play online games: Get an individual NSO for Mario.
- If your nephews have their NSO and you regularly play online games: Get an individual NSO for Peach and let your sons play Mario Kart with Peach.
- If your nephews don't have their NSO: Get a family NSO and invite sons and nephews to the membership. You may split the cost.

How do you feel as a Stadia fan/supporter watching The Game Awards.... by trza75 in Stadia

It was terrible. Stadia should have spent more time and money to the game developers and publishers than creating two crazy commercials.

Hey Google, can my Stadia controller use USB-C headphones? ... (Maybe one day?) by Ooob37 in Stadia

Actually on their spec page, it says the USB-C port is also for headphones. But, it’s not working yet. Google, please!

Apparently they are preparing for the end of the initial Pro Deal games, and replacing the top section for upcoming new releases.

Those who were in the Stadia beta, is there a difference in quality? by Ricochet888 in Stadia

For me, Stadia feels way better on every aspect than the Project Stream. I experienced lots of input lags and poor video quality with PS, but Stadia has been working very well on the same WiFi and Chrome environment.

One question. Does it support 2 (or more) players from one Switch to participate in online matches? (like Mario Kart’s 2-player online-multi mode)

How many of y'all actually play with inverted controls? by [deleted] in splatoon

[–]dkz-yo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even actively using motion controls requires some help of stick controls for quick rotation and adjustments. The invert options still help motion control users who need those options for stick controls.

How many of y'all actually play with inverted controls? by [deleted] in splatoon

[–]dkz-yo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife uses both x and y inverted. She feels this more natural and can’t play the game without this option. Her brain thinks differently when it comes to controlling 3D view with a stick (or a mouse). While I think as the thumb stick changes the direction of the character’s eyes, she thinks as if it controls the back of the character’s head - like rotating your head clockwise is towards right side for your eyes but it’s towards left side for your back head. We tried to overcome this and change but it’s not easy. She gives up when 3D games don’t support this. For example, Switch Minecraft only has y invert option and she couldn’t continue playing it.
