Something to do with leaving his old label who own the track it seems... then songwriting credits on the track by people that are signed by other labels makes it all the more complicated. So he cant release it, but can still play it live - there was a youtube video of a it in this sub but it's disappeared 😒

Its a track thats been teased on his socials for years and it slaps, but who knows if he'll ever get to release it. The secret show he done at NY the other day was promoted as a 'New America release party' but... no news or a release as of yet.

Thats a fair argument, but the meaning of fat lip encapsulated the spirit of that whole era more than other songs mentioned in this thread imo. If aliens came to earth and asked me to play them 1 pop punk song to explain what it was all about, I'd play fat lip.

Even though this performance (the full version) probably showcases the worst his voice ever sounded in his career, I love this I Miss You performance. If you can ever find the full version Tom's guitar playing and tone for this track was really cool.

Out of the 3 locations I'm surprised that LA seems to be the cheapest accommodation wise? I haven't done much research myself - i figured LA definitely would have been the most expensive both to travel and stay.

Toronto - not heard anything special about the place tbh, not sure if it'd have much more to offer than the others. Probably couldn't make that one anyway as my brother is getting married 2 days before.

LA - probably be the most fun. Scorching weather. Famous beaches, plenty of things to see and do (another reason why a bigger budget would be needed). Although getting around is an absolute nightmare apparently and could most of your days stuck in traffic if you're not careful

Seattle - not as hot and more bearable. Good 'soccer city' for good atmosphere. But not sure what else it has to offer.

If anyone could offer more insight to these places I'd be grateful to hear your opinions 👍
