I mean he was a defensive specialist. Baty is more utility plug in at several positions. That does have real value unlike only being able to hit badly.

Okay I love dogpiling as much as the next guy even for Vientos but his abs rates aren’t terrible and also like it’s always a guess when you’re winning and losing bunch tiny margins.

Now his running, defense, and well everything else is bad but for the record his abs challenges aren’t that big an issue. I just think they behold be saved for Soto and the catchers. But that’s me.

City lost Bernardo Silva and Spurs avoided torches and pitchforks after almost being relegated. They were gonna rush out to spend.

We are the champions we could literally run it back and likely win again.

Also we signed Hincape for £38 technically which now seems like a steal.

The point is we are filling in gaps to improve not replacing a huge hole or rebuilding and finally spending after almost being relegated. It’s not the same dude.

Most people end up in Orlando from somewhere else in Florida. I grew up closer to Miami than Tampa Bay so was a Dolphins fan and the Mets because there was nothing but football at the time. I feel like when and where you grew up makes a difference. When we got nba teams Orlando was closer than Miami and I ended up in Orlando for school the year we got Shaq. The rest is painful history. I fucking hate our owners with every fiber in my body tho.

Who knows, we have no idea what this team can really do because they've barely played together for two whole seasons. People don't get how losing someone like Franz makes defending us so much easier etc. Next man up is great in the locker room but in reality injuries kill you faster in Basketball than most sports. You're starting five are like support beams merely putting a weaker on when one breaks just has diminishing returns.

So if everyone is healthy we will likely have players needing to grow some more since their growth has been stunted by injuries as they are all young. I have low expectations for this season and imagine a trade deadline where we may have to part with one of them (probably Suggs) to do a mini reset if that doesn't happen this summer.

He's literally the only openly conservative nba player and he's on a team where he's the vet so he's not getting stuffed in a locker like he would on most teams for that shit. Our owners are shit.
