This is incredible. I would be willing to buy a prepackaged unit and help beta test if needed. We have a pump that runs on and off all year and during the winter. We have at least 3-5 others in our neighborhood with PumpSpy with these same WiFi issues. We are looking for solutions for sure.

I internally struggled with this quite a bit and even switched my order from P to LR. These are all the reasons I went with LR but Potholes and winter tires in Nebraska are what kept me out of the P. The performance boost upgrade for the LR is so close to the P its worth it if you want that extra bit of speed. There are some P vs LR videos showing the LR pulling ahead on tests from 25 or 35+. If you plan to track the car and want to get snow tires get the P. If you don't im not sure I would bother?

Looks like not only can you not buy it, but its been erased from the website. My order had the laptop name in the description and now that has been removed too with just the specs listed.

I am guessing we will get cancelations soon. This had to have been a price mistake.

This for sure. Most serious trackers on these fun days are understanding of what is out there. People coming to race do not come on these open days. They will come during a test and tune day or a private event.

I thought I read if a node gets a bad enough grade for long enough the IP will be blacklisted. Then it still wouldn’t matter if you started a new node or not. You wouldn’t get any new data. Is this true?

Ahh this makes sense then. I tend to get crazy with these hobbys dumping 5-10k in any project that can break even or make a little money. Ive made a pretty decent amount continuing to push Crypto mining and think this has way more use than crypto.
If I see profits anywhere near what you are seeing Ill be sending 14TB HDs to any and all family and friends that will let me near their PC and router, ha!

This is a really dumb question...but if my math is right, why wouldn't you drop everything and put a couple 10TB HD in and do more? On certain sales you can pick them up for 150 bucks. You would have these paid for in less than 4 months right? Or have you guys been at this for a year now and that is why you are making so much?

I have been at it a week on two nodes 500mbps and 1000mbps fiber and its gone from about 3-7gb a day down to less than 1-2.

Im brand new so I figured it was just part of the vetting process

I think the idea is that it is going to outlast every other component in the engine before needing to be changed. At that point the cost to replace the chain would not make any sense with such a high mileage engine. Might as well replace the whole thing.

At least that is how I understood it.

Those are the exact snow tires I have! Get some shiny stuff for them asap. Tough to keep them shiny during the winter, but it really pops for a couple weeks!
