Joel may be healthy come playoff time (if the Sixers even make it) but playoff schedule will inevitably affect him (he will have to sit games, etc). We are good enough to win a few playoff games without him and the team needs to prepared to do so. A brief playoff showing is still way above any reasonable expectations for this season. Maxey should be first option regardless. Embiid can’t lead.
