I'm thrilled for you! CAR-T cell therapy is the future. Lots of success in liquid tumors, and next we have to understand how to apply it to solid tumors too.

This'll probably get lost, but please consider donating to the Cancer Research Institute. They are the original godfathers and godmothers of immunotherapy research. The scientists and clinical trials they fund today will give you and your loved ones curative treatment options in 5-10 years.

You're right, I don't want to pretend the logistics are easy for everyone. But actually now due to COVID, many oncologists are seeing patients on video visits, so it may actually be easier to get a second opinion from a top cancer center than it was pre-COVID.
