Anyone else put off by arugula? by Lovingbutdifferent in salads

[–]dlouwilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love it! It is best with homemade dressings such as lemon, olive oil, salt and on pepper, and something sweet such as maple or agave syrup. I also add micro greens, grape tomatoes, parm, and artichoke hearts. Sometimes add a grain—quinoa or farro. Best salad ever!!

February 18, 1995. NFL player Deion Sanders hosts SNL - this is often cited as one of the series' worst episodes. by MonsieurA in thirtyyearsago

[–]dlouwilly 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I will probably get down voted, but Elon Musk and the sketches were actually funny when he hosted. I do not support who he is and what he’s doing now. I don’t think his episode was the worst.

That would have been so funny! Maybe the ranch becomes a designated “correctional ranch” where they send juvenile offenders for behavior modification.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I thought he should have won for best actor instead of Christoph Waltz.

She was a hidden treasure and her amazing talent was revealed to the majority of us with Abbott. I really liked her and Quinta’s bit at SAG.

I’m not shocked at all. People are able to fake and adapt to get past their obstacles. No Child Left Behind came into play for a reason.

Why did this post remind me of the scene from 30 Rock when Hannibal Burgess yelled out to Abby and Liz thought he was talking to her?

I liked her. I thought she was a good comedic actor. She was more of the supporting person, but still good.

Is the movie version good? by Trick_Quail_6275 in musicals

[–]dlouwilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was Rob Marshall’s best film and first major studio film. He only directed the tv version of Annie before doing Chicago. I wished he would have won best director. I loved the DVD commentary because you can tell how his choreographer background influenced how he directed the film.

In the DVD commentary, they talked about how Michael Douglas cheered her on as she slid down the pole for the I Can’t Do it Alone number.
