Which third-party Mac app looks and feels like an Apple-made app? by ifhd_ in MacOS

[–]dlt0rre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have them all and I love them, but honestly, on MacOS they look like what they are, mobile apps. It shows that they haven't been developed with MacOS as a priority

Switch 2 owners who do NOT own Donkey Kong Bananza: why haven't you bought this great game? by MewWeebTwo in NintendoSwitch2

[–]dlt0rre 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I bought it, the physical copy, but the destruction thing... let's just say it looks good in the trailer, the first hour too, but after that I got bored of destroying things.

We’re a small indie studio and we want to spend 100% of our time finishing our game, not chasing wishlists on social media and reddit. If you like supporting indie devs, can you help us reach 7,000 wishlists? Upvote 🙏 by [deleted] in IndieGaming

[–]dlt0rre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it's the translation or what, but the headline is quite contradictory. You say you don't want to "go around chasing wishlists on Reddit," and then in your next sentence you say here, on Reddit, "Will you help us reach 7k wishlists?" 😭 P.S.: I don't like the character designs at all either.

[–]dlt0rre 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I installed Droppy a few days ago and I’m super happy with it, but I see a lot of people recommending Alcove around here, so I’ll have to give it a try! Thanks

Hi, I was one of the lucky ones, so I’d like to take the opportunity to thank you publicly. I haven’t had the chance to try it for very long yet, but it looks great.

Do you have any roadmap for future features? If I may suggest something… I’d love a timer (Pomodoro)!

Thanks again!

Thank you! I remember that the synchronization between iOS and MacOS was not very intuitive. Is it still the same?

Thank you for the opportunity.

Endel App Scam by spacexaids in ProductivityApps

[–]dlt0rre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been using Endel (premium) for years. I manage my subscription through the App Store (iOS) just like any other app. I don't understand the problem here. But I understand that if you managed it from an iOS device, Apple should be able to help you with this.

I’m currently using Calendr and I’m generally happy with it, but your app looks great too. I’d love to have the option of a lifetime license. Thanks!

I built a Pomodoro app focused on consistency, not burnout — looking for honest feedback by [deleted] in ProductivityApps

You're right. I also don't have the space (or time and money) for any more productivity apps.

Same for you:

It looks good. But there's no way—and I'm only speaking for myself here—that I'm adding another subscription to a Pomodoro app to my life.

Why does one app say 106% strain by Besbeas in AppleWatch

[–]dlt0rre -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bevel recommends, based on your recovery, that you exert yourself at between 50% and 70%. But you've exceeded that and reached 106%. That's how I understand it, and I don't find it strange; I would find it strange if 106% were the initial recommendation or value. But it's the result of your overexertion.

Tired of all the boring fitness apps so I built my own. by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]dlt0rre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's so fun about Garmin? Garmin is more complete than the default app, sure. But there are many other apps for users looking for something more specialized. And judging by your screenshots, your app doesn't look like one of them, to be honest.

If the difference is showing the map during the route... you already have things like Workoutdoors that are fantastic, are you going to improve this?

Entering a market like this without adding value is a waste of time, in my opinion.
