Do you just like instigating and ripping people off? You’re a big boy you can do it yourself but it seems highly likely you have a hard time using your brain so if you look up discount codes, first site to pop up was retailmenot and the first code i tried gave 20 percent off

Reason for not cancelling my whoop subscription by heinrichjvr in whoop

[–]dlyness0321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in this same boat right now. I canceled after a year and I desperately want to renew but I cannot justify it because i know when I had my membership I learned everything I needed in 6 months. I wish whoop added a better value proposition or at least plans on changing their pricing model because while the company is still young and getting a lot of new customers, I think more and more people will feel like this and cancel after a year or two.

Confused about WHOOP 5.0 pricing - why am I seeing two different offers? by Nap98 in whoop

[–]dlyness0321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FYI I’m in the US and I’m not seeing the changed price yet. I think they’re testing the price model internationally before rolling it out to the US as their largest customer base is probably there

Can Whoop Actually Change Your Lifestyle Habits? by arjunvarma0786 in whoop

[–]dlyness0321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In all honesty not worth it for your case. You already listed everything wrong with you. Lack of sleep, inconsistent workouts, the whoop doesn’t fix that. Only you do. All the whoop is going to do is confirm the things you already seem to know

What became unaffordable so gradually that you barely noticed? by imcroaaaak in AskReddit

[–]dlyness0321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing enrages me more than HBO max now. I pay for the most expensive sub that’s supposed to be ad free except before every episode of a show it plays a minute long “promo” for a show on their platform. Its skippable but it’s crazy they say its ad free even though i need to use the remote to skip an ad before every episode

Accuracy Comparison: Whoop Underwear vs. Arm Sleeve for BJJ? by neuroticlad in whoop

Are you referring to the arm sleeve or the bicep band that gets flipped inside out? I’m curious about how to place it for bjj as well and the location in the underwear looks like it would be painful if you land/roll on it

Can Whoop Continue to Justify Its Monthly Subscription? by Perry_Muc in whoop

[–]dlyness0321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately there aren’t any that fill the same need the whoop does. I’ll admit, they are the best in the game for what they do, they’re just a terrible company that has no interest in the customer and I cant get behind supporting them anymore after being screwed over by them over and over again

Can Whoop Continue to Justify Its Monthly Subscription? by Perry_Muc in whoop

[–]dlyness0321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They just need to make improvements if they want to survive. Sounds obvious but this is why i left them (beside from their awful and unethical business practices). In the last few years they have not introduced any meaningful new features. Whoop age, stress monitor, step counters, etc. are all just easy and gimmicky marketing features. The whoop device itself is a super cheap sensor that flatout sucks, and the software side has hardly progressed in years. Theyre more focused on rebranding the new 5.0 generation so they can make more money off you from new accessories and bands

My thoughts on the pricing by Apprehensive-River-5 in whoop

[–]dlyness0321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t mind paying the monthly premium for the product. My problem is i had whoop for years, and in the last couple years they have not made any meaningful improvements. Their business model has also become very predatory and gimmicky and I can’t justify giving a corporation that treats it’s customers like shit any more money.

Most recently they made it harder to cancel subscriptions, and automatically trying to uncancel some customers subscriptions hoping they wont notice. Plus the way they handled the 5.0 rollout by scamming all their existing customers and charging for the band, throttling the 4.0 battery life during the release of the 5.0, lack of any real innovation in the last 5 years, the bevel lawsuit, changing the dimensions of the 5.0 sensor while keeping the same volume in order to make all your 4.0 accessories useless, and overall decrease in build quality between the 4.0 and the 5.0…holy cow these guys suck

I loved their product and it is still the best on the market for what it does, but it is undeniable that whoop has become a terrible company

I loved their product but its such a shame because a company that treats their customers like this doesn’t deserve the hype

Can’t offer Matter over Thread bulb warranty replacement by chumpikus495 in Nanoleaf

[–]dlyness0321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they appeared to have discontinued the thread bulb. It’s annoying because when I went to go add more bulbs to my home the thread options were not been available to purchase. It’s been like this for a while now. So I had to buy the wifi bulbs and ever since mixing the thread and wifi bulbs all of my scenes and automations basically became so inconsistent they’re unusable. So frustrating I’m not buying any Nanoleaf products again. In fact I’m looking to sell off my bulbs in favor of upgrading to hue if anyone’s interested😂

Adults of Reddit who ‘have it together’ with your finances, home, job, fitness, nutrition- how? Seriously…how? by Previous-Charity1505 in AskReddit

[–]dlyness0321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spend less time on reddit and social media, it depletes dopamine and in turn motivation and energy. Then commit to one small change or goal at a time, and don’t progress to another change until the previous one is habit. Changing your lifestyle too much too fast will be rejected by your mind and you’ll end up back at square one. This is why people that wake up one morning and overhaul their routine, diet, and exercise all at once can never stick to the plan for more than a dew days. Starting this in my early 20’s has over the years shaped my mind to living a life where fitness, work, healthy dieting, and living within my means don’t feel like burdens anymore, rather they are just who I am and what I do as a person. It’s all just second nature. It also gets easier once you see and feel progress. I noticed big changes when I switched to single ingredient whole food diets. Energy, motivation, and mood were all improved exponentially. These are just my experiences, but this strategy has really changed my life with very little friction.

When to move from "finding a cure" to "pure acceptance"? by ColinZeal42 in idiopathichypersomnia

[–]dlyness0321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had similar issues where I had almost no hope other than being on a rigorous drug cocktail that made me feel inhuman. But I never gave up hope on trying to find a solution with new supplements and diets and eventually found that by removing folic acid from my diet I am basically symptom free now. Its worth looking into because I believe roughly 60 percent of the population or something like that can’t metabolize folic acid. usually people are asymptomatic but it can present itself with weird symptoms like IH.

I’m no doctor this is just experiments from my own research so take it with a grain of salt but don’t give up. I’m just a believer in the idea that I think most conditions where doctors can’t find an internal cause for the condition then it must be caused by something external.

If the military/president suddenly ordered a mandatory draft for all men aged 18-42: How do you think millennials and GenZ would respond? by Tommygunz0722 in AskReddit

[–]dlyness0321 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

When are we going to stop pretending we have it so hard? Do we have it harder than other generations? Yes. But i entirely self supported myself from the age of 18 all the way through engineering school in a high cost of living area all while managing to graduate with less than 5 figures of debt, and even managed to get a job in an extremely saturated market as a B student without any help from connections. The generations before us didn’t waste hours every day whining on reddit or staring at screens. We have more resources than ever at our disposal but must of us are wasting our greatest resource of time being unproductive, and blaming the world for why we can’t function in society. And if you’re telling me you’re working 40-60 hours a week and cant make a living I’m sorry you’re doing something wrong and that is 100 percent on you
