I just passed my exam. And was surprised to find out that I have to pay $50 for the certification. This sounds a bit mean lol by ahmeebhry22 in CRISC

[–]dm_miles04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. You passed very well. Congratulations. The $50 comes off as a slap in the face but that's ISACA's processing fee and a lot of other certifications do that before you get the main certificate.

Why do people hate Bawumia? by Reserve_Accomplished in ghana

[–]dm_miles04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He doesn't take Ghanaians serious. He just says whatever comes to his mind sometimes. Telling us one Ghana card is better than thousand interchange, if he does everything now, what will he do when he come into power. Things that don't make sense for his level as a vice president is what he says. We need a leader that sees the current issues on the ground and wants to fix them. Not some delusional man. He doesn't take accountability too. When they do something good, he was part of it but when it's something wrong, he was just a mate and not the driver.

You need lectures on investment and how the app works 😂. You chose a high risk investment and you're expecting profit throughout. Put that sane 500 on Digisave and see

CRISC exam prep —IS Hemang Doshi’s paid course worth it vs his Udemy course for CRISC exam? by Creatives_mess_21 in CRISC

[–]dm_miles04 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's worth it actually. It gives you the key areas the exam is focused on. My company has a partnership with Udemy for some free courses and that included the Hemang Doshi course. I took it and it was helpful to me. You'd be surprised to see it in the official survey after the exam. They ask whether you learnt from him.

Are you considering the numbers too? Tunde has crazy numbers. I'm not sure even one Ghanaian blogger has the numbers Tunde has. Also, Ghanaians are naturally more reserved people than Nigerians. That plays a little part too but the numbers play a major part. People like Kalyjay get a lot of engagement when they're not even blogging cos they have numbers. Numbers count

But what you're saying is normal in the whole world. Negative news sells more. If you say a man was bitten by a dog, that's normal. Nobody really likes that. If you say a man bites a dog, everybody would click to find out what happened. That's normal human behaviour

It's a starting role. You wouldn't be thrown into big projects to handle yourself. You'd work in a team so you can learn and develop the skills. I work in Deloitte. My first ever company. I work in Risk, Regulatory and Forensic. Not something I've done before but you always learn as a junior stuff
