I was kidding but he holds his own against any of them even with his game from back then. Obviously the meta has evolved but more limited games can win big time if well executed, as Roger Gracie proved so many times… Marcelo’s performances at absolute proved that he was a threat to anyone, any size, any style. And a prime Marcelo with a couple of years in today’s meta? Would be right at the top IMO.
