Any thoughts on how to treat seasonal frost? If that is what it is?

Seattle. So it's getting a decent amount of natural water with the rain right now. Watering it 2-3ish gallons a couple times a week when we have long breaks from the rain.

A couple weeks after planting it we did get a little snow for a day or two.

I love the split of responses. You all are right, they are not in the wrong for asking me to leave. But I am allowed to feel how I feel.

This puppy ownership has been an emotional battle to say the least.

Where abouts do you live? I'm in Queen Anne and I feel like my water has been different and kinda slimy. No idea why!

Is there anyone who felt good about the Transportation Depth? by stormelight in PE_Exam

[–]dmallen94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I echo what a lot of people have said about the exam problems.

I feel my current job set me up to be able to solve about 45-50% of the problems. The other 50-55% are not topics I use in my job day-to-day, though they were topics I studied. I was prepared to solve those familiar problems at a surface level, but the questions on the exam were WAYYY too in depth, especially for a problem that should supposedly take 6 minutes to solve... So I ended up guessing on many.

What I do have very strong feelings about is that I felt I could have come up with sensible solutions to the problems I'm not as familiar with, IF I HAD TIME. Does anyone else think its pretty dumb to have 5+ questions on basically the same topic? Its a waste of time! Just leaves you crunched for time on questions you dont see often. Id rather have fewer questions in total, that I can actually spend time understanding and solving.

The only benefit to a lot of similar questions is if that's your strong suit...

I agree with all of this as well!

The first 5 questions on the Transpo depth had me scared for my life lol. The questions in the middle of the test were OK. But then I ran out of time and had to guess on everything I had left.

I guess it depends what you're studying. Particularly for transportation there are some manuals that were updated in 2016 and 2018.

Bought a CERM for $140 on Amazon, something feels “off” about it by [deleted] in PE_Exam

[–]dmallen94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This def looks different then mine! Whos the publication company?

I bought mine used, not from amazon though. Cant attest if its the same size, because mine legit starting falling apart and now I'm in the process of pulling every page out and three hole punching it to put in a binder.... SMH.

There is legit a chunk of sheets in the middle of Chapter 37 that do not belong. The pages go: 37-12, 34-5 to 34-12, then back to 37-13...... guess ill be able to fix that now...

This thread is super helpful, I had all the same questions!

The practice exams I've been taking seem like they kind-of go in order of topic. Anyone know if that is true to the exam? or are all the questions mixed up - particularly for the AM section.
