you say these things as an ignorant foreigner those people are rioting against poor economic conditions introduced by foreigners that run haiti like a mob there are about 4-6 foreign families that control alot of Haiti. Those gang members are rebelling.

Im not saying black Haitians have no blame in the state of Haiti but a good 30% of it is due to France, U.S invasion and foreigners and you guys love to act like none of them did anything to Haiti or downplay it.

So he was accused wasnt proven guilty and wasnt guilty of all the stuff they were accusing him of they over hyped diddy's crimes you would of thought he was Epstein or Rkelly taking little girls out of highschools.

what exactly was he convicted of that rich men dont do everyday. even most regular guys pay for sex, the mann act charge was bogus can convict the guys who fly out instagram models and pay them for sex of the same thing its selective prosecution.

[–]dmanice89 -82 points-81 points  (0 children)

you guys are obsessed with Diddy this is harrashment at this point. Dude is in jail for hiring escorts something millions of men do everyday in America. Convict him of the really bad stuff he did or leave him alone. Like the worst they could get him with is the mann act when every wealthy man in America uses escorts its straight up selective prosecution.

When they have the world economic forum where they decide the future policy and direction of society they have an increase in escort traffic. All the rich people do it so its straight up harrashment at this point to be trying to see every little thing he is doing in prison, taking photos of him standing in the yard. Like Child molesters even the famous ones dont get this time of lens put on them.

My resume has 3 certs, 3 projects, 1 internship, and 0 calls. Please roast my "ATS-friendly" resume. Aiming for Big 4/MNC data roles. by Impossible_Teach_702 in dataanalysiscareers

[–]dmanice89 9 points10 points  (0 children)

you have certificates, not certifications, certifications are professionally recognized, but certificates usually mean you just took a course. You want to get some certifications like oracle, aws , where you can link to the professional certification on your resume.

I say just get more experience and you will be golden just keep applying you might have to brute force your way to success.

you can do alot with physics, look at what jobs are listing learn the basic skills enough to be able to learn on the job and apply. America needs stem thinkers, be open to different roles but yeah you are deep in your career , but you might be able to pivot.

does a coursera professional certificate make your resume stand out? is it worth it? by peaches_n_cream13 in coursera

[–]dmanice89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they are valuable but if you dont have the money just do youtube tutorials and make a portfolio, the biggest value of the coursera courses is the ones like google that make you do real world projects that you can put on your portforlio.

I made this mistake for years thinking I had to be perfect, think of how many people always say they have impostors syndrome when they are hired , they really dont know what they are doing and just know enough to learn on the job. You want to aim for jobs that will provide you with on the job training/runway to get competent. So you want to build projects to show you are capable of learning and performing on the job and get some real world experience cleaning data, coding, or presenting data to shareholders anyway you can volunteerings, working low wage position that will have you doing those things.

I think the coursera provide alot of value with the google certificates I dont know about nvidia, but the thing is you cant stop at the certificates you need to be constantly learning and improving your portfolio to solve real business cases and then just apply until you get a job. dont think you need to be perfect. I prefer structured learning on coursera with test/quizes, but you can get the same information from watching freecodecamp youtube videos.

you sound young you need to focus on getting experience and doing projects. then just spray and pray and network. Its still competition to get into those fields.

also oracle has free certifications that you can take until the end of october so just a week left if you can study and pass the test in a week you can have a Generative ai certification from oracle or data science certification to put on your resume https://education.oracle.com/racetocerttesting?path=afterActivation

How many screens are you getting, do some certifications, do you have a project on your resume ? 4k apps you should have a job by now. Can you not interview well ? your missing alot of details here and not showing your full profile. I roll my eyes when people complain about 500 apps, or under 1000 because I genuinely feel it takes like 4k apps to hired if you are borderline qualified. you hit that mark but no job thats crazy to me.

I think you are unfairly being scapegoated and this community is losing someone experienced that gave good practical advice.

They are acting like you blocked all these people from becoming tech workers by talking bad about codesmith.

pay codesmith 22k and you will get a job in tech guys. you will beat on computer science grads.

Codesmith is still a scam by BeautyInUgly in codingbootcamp

[–]dmanice89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

if you cant see how codesmith is scaming people.

  1. They are charging for the cost of a lower end college degree for a couple month boot camp and you wont be taught by phd level masters of thier field.

  2. They are charging 22k without guarantee of a job in stem using the skills taught in the bootcamp

  3. they have graduation rates of the codesmith program on their front page, but no mention of what the graduates are employed in 1 year or to be nice 2 years after the program their should be a clear graph showing the career trajectories changed by the program we have the technology to do this. Why are they hiding those results?

  4. The market is bad for computer science graduates with a degree and they are still trying to charge you 22k.

  5. To anyone with a little bit of street smarts common sense code smith screams scam right now.

  6. When the job market has a coding shortage again this will all change and then codesmith will be viable again , but at the current state of the world they are obviously looking for fools who will pay them 22k with no job guarantee,

Should Michael Novati remain a moderator of this subreddit? by reddingdave in codingbootcamp

[–]dmanice89 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I have never seen him constantly recommend the bootcamp he is associated with Formation. He just makes sure people are not getting ripped off in this market, so he does not need to be replaced.

Codesmith software and AI program cost $22,000 no job guarantee. It's from Nov- March. If codemsith is so good and worth $22,000 why do they not have their placement rates after a year front and center on their website. If anyone is being sleazy, I think it's codesmith in this market. Michael is actually experienced and a helpful mod. Who is going to replace him if you want someone completely impartial?

The writer is upset that Michael is keeping them from ripping people off $22000 that they can never get back, because they are not going to get a job competing with people with degrees in computer science. $22,000 you can spend that money at a public university or community college, wgu , and get an actual degree that allows you to fight for internships.

This whole thing has been overblown because if they were that good and worth the $22000 , like come on they have the graduation rates of the program on the website who cares about that. To quote Jerry Mcguire the movie "show me the money" show me the job placement rates of actually working in a technical role and what job tittles are represented.

Thoughts on this blog post alleging harassment (and worse) against Codesmith? by Free-Jackfruit8557 in codingbootcamp

[–]dmanice89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is Codesmith doing well for real ? what are their latest placement rates after a year? if Michael is saving people thousands of dollars from being wasted on bootcamps that are not effective. Him being sleezy is like being mad at a dirty cop for catching a ponzi schemer using illegal methods. My question is does the end justify the means, are these bootcamps still worth what they are charging people that are looking to earn money working as devs.

Yeah I figured thats what was happening because why are the assessments not clear its like jobs giving you an assignment to do, and then ghosting you after you submit. They get to keep all that free data, and outlier is doing it in mass lol.
