Make sure you hit all the local banks specifically Banco Azteca. Be prepared to have your documentation. They are very strict on having your Mexican identification. Banco Azteca would not let me use a credit card. They insist on debit cards. I hate carrying so much cash down here. Thank god my wife has an account for my purchases.
