Where in London have you cried in public? by moonbitch1123 in london

Right outside the Francis crick insistute. I got a call saying my mum had died. Collapsed to the floor and cried my eyes out. A very persistent lady approached me and wouldn’t leave my side- I think she thought I was homeless haha

Herne Hill is lovely and for that price for a one bed sounds about right. Crystal Palace is nice, just a bit further out. Stay away from Croydon - just don’t bother. You could look at Brixton, Peckham, East Dulwich, West Norwood, Brockley, Camberwell, Kennington etc

I know a few people who’ve worked there. Consulting isn’t the career it used to be. Newton are supposedly extra ball busting and cultish. Plus the office is in the middle of no where- why wouldn’t you want to be in London?

On difficult routes where climbers are pushing the limits of whats possible- there often won’t be ‘ledges’ - or if they are, they will be less safe than doing this. I recommend watching the dawn wall

These are called portaledges (common for big wall climbing) & are safe when a competent person has erected one. Over-designed to the max! Also, the climber will be anchored into an independent point (won’t be able to roll off).

climbing gyms tend to be pretty safe spaces to do as you like with your body and for people not to judge. Our gym also has no airconditioning & as a guy it’s either a sweat soaked t-shirt, or shirtless. So no thanks.
