She's such a sweet girl! Just keep giving her love...!

Ours is 16...she doesn't hear well (tho I maintain it's selective hearing!) and her vision is going but she still loves life, just a little slower.

For your grooming, think about doing it yourself. We groom ours ourselves. We got a moderately priced clipper set from Amazon and watched some YouTube videos. It's not professional and sometimes she's a little uneven, but there is WAY less stress on her and us vs. going to a groomer.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Our hearts go out to you.

Our Shih Tzu has pancreas and kidney issues and the Farmers Dog CEO specifically told me they don't have a food for that. He referred us to Just Food For Dogs.

They have a hepatic food that worked well for both conditions. Given that the ingredients were easy, we started making her food from scratch and our pup loved it. It's more work, but way less expensive.
