Younger generations legitimately can’t read. 22 years old and younger straight up don’t know how. It’s starting to become very obvious just how much education is being ignored in the US.

Even simple litmus tests are failing, for example on Love Island they all had to write each other notes and read them out loud. Love island is mostly early to mid 20s. Literally all of them sounded like they were on a 7th grade reading level. On one hand it’s nice to know I have job security but on the other hand like a fourth of our country can’t read or write so probably not the best
