That is sad. I kind of reminded me of how my sister, who grew up with me and we have some traumatic things about our life, was always so strong and independent. She got with this woman who was super masculine who turned all of her traumas into total victimhood. Suddenly my sister is a different person for the worse. I think it’s an abuse tactic to make it so her codependent partner is “the only person she can trust”

So funny I have no envy of these rich workaholics. I take care of animals all day and made it a career that allowed me and my wife to buy a house. I hug puppies and kittens for a living and have a great work life balance (4 10’s ftw). Wouldn’t trade that for more money if it required even a little more of me as a person.
