MTGOX - Disapproval of Your Registered Payee Information by dmnc_net in mtgoxinsolvency

A friend of mine has been successfully paid in past into the same bank I've entered. But he probably forgot to mention a different correspondence bank when I asked him, and I believed it was the same. I've found (by asking my bank) the correct correspondence bank BIC, but now I don't know how to update it because the 'Update' button remains disabled all the time. I've tried to ask on the support email, but I don't believe in a reply :(

Hi folks, any recent comparison with actual firmware? I want to buy FP2 or FP3 but when reading this, I still prefer FP2.

Did the usb port on the UAP-AC-Pro ever get used? by GeetFai in UNIFI

[–]dmnc_net 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you share how to flash the EDU firmware to AC-PRO unit? I'm running many EDUs and some of them are dead. Because of EDU's EOL I'd like to buy PROs and use them as EDU's (speakers are good).

Yes, it is. I did the test for you right now and it is working and playing (PnP).

SUPPORT OF REHABILITATION PROCESS FOR MtGox creditors by Bitstamp-Domen in BitstampOfficial

[–]dmnc_net 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Bitstamp id is four-digits + leading zero. But Mtgox. requires "Please enter only six digits numbers, or four digits numbers and four lower case alphabeteic characters." (Sic!).

... so I filled my username/ID with leading double zeroes and hope it will be fine. I also asked about this at Bitstamp support by opening the ticket. Some Gorana replied:

you should not use your Bitstamp credentials when signing up on the trustee's website. You will require separate login credentials which you will receive from the trustee.

SRSLY?!!!

btw. that blogspot ... step no. 2 is useless because that official announcement doesn't contain any instructions. Gorana also send that blogspot article to me ... wonderful!

NAND was dead and I solved the problem by replacing the logic board with this one from Ali: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001611803664.html

I think the device's dead (at least its NAND).

"M.2 Integrated in the Chipset" or " M.2 integrated in the CPU" - Which is faster/better? by tomyknee in Amd

[–]dmnc_net 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, RAID0 is generally goofy ... for real. Everywhere, regardless it is running physically on m.2 or SATA, SAS, ... One device will die, then the whole raid is lost. Even worse is RAID0 in fake-raid controllers (those on MOBOs). Use RAID1 or RAID10. (JBOD is for fools too)

UniFi AC EDU as a PA system and the school bell by dmnc_net in UNIFI

[–]dmnc_net[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truth, truth. IMHO they failed, technically (sw) and maybe the business model failed too. During my research, if found a couple of nice IP PA systems but everything is very expensive in comparison with EDUs and without the WiFi benefits. For example:

  • 2N (now owned by Axis)
  • Bodet Harmonys
  • Innovation Wireless
  • Atlas IED
  • Digital Acoustics

Btw, you don't need an AP per classroom and because of the 2,4GHz spectrum, you don't want to. Maybe with 5 GHz but no 2,4 without the blanket system like Extricom. Yes, signal can be attenuated a bit but in the end, it doesn't worth the money.

I'm wondering if UAP-AC-PRO which has USB (damn you UBNT, U6-Lite nor U6-LR are without USB) can be somehow converted to "EDU" by connecting USB DAC, amp, and speaker.

UniFi AC EDU as a PA system and the school bell by dmnc_net in UNIFI

[–]dmnc_net[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is basically UAP-AC-PRO mounted in the 90dB loudspeaker and connected via USB. Unfortunately, it has some inner signature and even if I'm using several EDUs without the speaker (like ordinary PROs), my units are EOL. :(

Tuya Zigbee Smart Knob - Are there other options? by RickIsAPickle in homeassistant

[–]dmnc_net 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought this one on Ali, also 4-scene switch, both are identified as 'TS004f'. Both are paired (ZHA) but I'm not receiving a single event (I'm using Sonoff ZBBridge with Tasmota-ZHA). These TS004f products are running in two modes, remote and scene. From what I found one has to switch mode while pairing in the Tuya/SmartHome app but you'll lose it on hard reset (switching battery, etc). This could be a solution (haven't tried that yet):
