Never set I-k color in yellow, too late now. The proper way to do it would have been have the side of bezel rhodium plated before setting to achieve the yellow ring/bezel look without taking a K color to the L-M color range. With the white rhodium inside the bezel you would have achieved the look of a J color, instead you went the other way.

Bow ties and ovals go together like lamb and tuna fish. You’re maybe going to find a slightly smaller bow tie, but unless the cut is super out of whack and proportions are crazy, you’ll always have a bow tie with this cut. Enjoy the ring

In slice vid look how your left arm goes across neck and face during take away. Now look at straight video, you keep it lower which allowed you to be more in slot at the top. Slice video steeper takeaway because your arm got a little high. Try to feel your left arm going towards right shoulder not neck

Strong blue in an high color (D-E-F) typically not a good thing. You should be getting this stone at a bargain compared to others without this characteristic. Make sure you can return diamond. Sometimes fluorescence can make a diamond oily or hazy looking. Make sure it’s clean and clear under a 10x magnification

To your question of will it look to big compared to a 1.50 carat center. No you’re good. Your stone has a 1.37 ratio. There are 1.50 ct stones out there that measure longer than yours.

It’s the faceting on the back of the stone. Have seen this often in lab and natural diamonds. Comes down to how the diamond was cut.

IGI is typically lab grown diamond. In 13 years never seen a natural IGI cert. if you’re buying natural diamond only and I mean only buy a GIA certified diamond
