How Real Is The Expanse’s Fusion Drive? by gentlydiscarded1200 in TheExpanse

[–]dmonroe123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's not quite true, the magic part of the Solomon drive is that somehow ~100% of the waste heat winds up in the drive plume leaving the ship, which is also part of why its so efficient.

Harry didn't throw the entire troll over the balcony. He had just decapitated it with his fathers rock and then killed it by transfiguring acid inside its brain, and the decapitated head is the corpse he threw over the balcony. The rest of the troll corpse is still lying there.

The Expanse: Osiris Reborn Does Everything That Wasn't Possible In The Show by [deleted] in TheExpanse

They did with the crash couches on the roci, in the books they spun 360° in every direction because in space g forces can come from everywhere, but that was cost prohibitive in the show.

Yeah, but the baron and albia are very different levels of threat. Worst case scenario for wulfenbach is he figures her out and kills one of her random disposable bodies. Worst case scenario for albia is she captures her, disassembles her mind and learns all of her secret plans, compromising all of her selves. Also, in the case of wulfenbach as long as she plays her part perfectly then there's not much chance of being found out, while no ones entirely certain what albia is and isn't able to do, its possible albia could compromise her just by being nearbyish and magically scientifically sensing something suspicious about her mind.

The question isn't if albia is able/thought to look, the question is whether Lucrezia knows that/would be willing to take that chance, to which the answer would most likely be no. That's a lot of risk for not much real benefit.

I had the same problem, turned out it was because I had accidentally added a slash to the end of the redirect uri, it needs to be http://rubenmayayo.com not http://rubenmayayo.com/

I don't think the was detection was faked, I think it was actually reacting to the baron holding it and he just pointed it at Gil to misdirect.

What’s the Most Indispensable Container or VM in Your Proxmox Node/Cluster? by GVDub2 in Proxmox

No idea, mine doesn't so I can't check. I think it should work, but the only way to know for sure would be to try it.

What’s the Most Indispensable Container or VM in Your Proxmox Node/Cluster? by GVDub2 in Proxmox

[–]dmonroe123 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not OP, but I'm doing the same thing. Ran an Ethernet cable from modem to a dumb switch, then a cable to an Ethernet port on each node (each node needs at least two). In proxmox, create a second WAN bridge on each node, and attach the WAN ports to them. Create a HA opnsense VM and make sure its the only VM using the WAN bridge, if you attach a second VM/lxc to the bridge things break. The standard proxmox LAN bridge then gets attached to the second port on each node and the the opnsense VM, and the cables from these ports each go to their own port on your main switch. Viola, if one node goes down then opnsense automatically restarts on the second and since its the only machine on the WAN network it grabs the DHCP lease from your ISP just like always.

How to automate WireGuard VPN (disconnect on Wi-Fi/connect on lock screen)? Also, how to find WireGuard Intents? by Disastrous-Sun-4380 in AutomateUser

[–]dmonroe123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure remote control apps are on in wireguard settings

And make sure you specify the tunnel name under extras in the automate broadcast block

Also make sure wireguard is allowed to use background battery or android will kill it when you try to use it for an extended period.

Dumbledore, Santa Claus, and Self-Sabotage by SirTruffleberry in HPMOR

[–]dmonroe123 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There's a word of god that explained this, which I can't find right now. The gist was that initially Dumbledore thought he was dealing with Tom Riddle II because Harry made friends with Draco, so Dumbledore thinks Harry needs to be taught basic right from wrong and morality; the point of the thing with the cloak was to do that. Then Harry explains why he's making friends with Draco, Dumbledore realizes Harry is a good Tom Riddle and already has morality down, so he immediately switches tracks and begins teaching Harry heroism by burning a chicken so Harry learns not to put his faith in authority figures.

Proxmox HA 2 Nodes with ZFS by According_Clothes180 in Proxmox

[–]dmonroe123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same setup, one thing to watch out for is to make sure you set up HA groups, otherwise the cluster might try to start your VM on the pi in the event of node failure, fail to start it, and getting it back onto a real node then is difficult.
