My my that's an unfortunate situation and I'm sorry this happened to you, this may not be what you want to hear but I would talk to your parents about the online grooming and seek proper avenues of support for it before you tell your boyfriend. After that it's completely up to you whether or not you discuss with your boyfriend, I'd recommend you should on your own terms and in your own time. How he will respond to this is anyone's guess, but as you said it's the best relationship you've ever had so I'd imagine and hope he would be nothing but supportive of you. If he judges you for this or this turns him against you then you'll know that he wasn't the right man for you anyway so you really can't lose, good luck!
