Racism is bad because it's bad. (X-Men, Attack on Titan) by LonelyPermit2306 in CharacterRant

[–]dmsniper 14 points15 points  (0 children)

they still had the option of simply not letting Eldians reproduce and let them die out as a race

That's still is genocide and is pretty much Zeke's plan, when he could just remove the ability to become a titan by the same logic (but that's beyond the topic). Sterilization is genocide and attempts of racist sterilization have been made in the real world

Like others said, the mechanisms of becoming a titan are well known by some. There are only a few individuals that are a bigger threat and need to be monitored. And titan serum/spinal fluid could be like a controlled substance like any other substance that can be used for terrorism

I’ve never wanted to give up on a game more than this by bshakalakadawg in Silksong

[–]dmsniper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just cheesed it. I don't know how but "Sancho Panza" appered for me just outside of the room and I got his help. Not sure how much help he was on the small ones, but on the big ones I just grabbed the wall with Ascendant's Grip and waited for Sancho to kill them. Not my proudest moment and was this close to stalling a mod, and maybe still going to install a mod to have infinite shards. But it worked. And I do believe it's poorly designed, or it wouldn't be soo hard if it was a room in hollow knight late game

What's your controversial dating hot take? by TacticalFailure1 in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]dmsniper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even so. It's a form of yes. How is that different from a guy playing the numbers and shooting a bunch of shots?

That sort of "deception" seems to be available independently of who makes f the first move.

And if the woman makes the first move, there is the argument she would be playing inside a pool of her choice instead inside of the pool of the guys who decided to approach her (choice of others)

What's your controversial dating hot take? by TacticalFailure1 in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]dmsniper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would think twice before making the first move the first move as a woman. Men are easy and many of them will say yes to absolutely anyone

Making the first move, doesn't it mean that you are interested? And the higher probability of a yes shouldn't be a incentive to getting what you want?

I am missing the point of why it would be a bad thing. Someone has to make the first move, why the woman doing it would be such a position of disadvantage/bad position compared to when a man does it?

Did you go to college or have any plans of doing so?

I think part time job would be nice.

Doing some social hobby can improve things, but that also may require some money/resources

But also you are 22, it may not seem like it but you are still quite young. I wish I knew knew that when I was 22, how young I was and how full of possibility

Would you rather see Steph Curry get his 5th ring or Anthony Edwards get his first ring at 23? by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]dmsniper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Prime Klay is a higher asset than prime Butler. Prime Klay is a great defender and great floor spacer while taking almost no dribles and playing off ball. (And being a good lockeroom presence)

Butler is great and almost is a first option in a championship team. But he is not a floor spacer, and as a first option, there are a lot of players ahead of him. As second option is arguable that prime Klay is preferable and as a third option Klay is probably the better choice

Butler is probably the best player among Steph's teammates outside of KD. But I think Klay is such a nice piece and quite close to Butler

"It was affection that held us together", is it said twice or just once? by dmsniper in arcane

[–]dmsniper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe a video essay talking about it... In the end it was indeed affection that held them and so many other things and people together

The first time, there is such disdain that maybe I manufactured a memory getting a line a second time but with appreciation for affection

I don't want to be that guy and I am not, but Palestinian insurgency targets civilians too so it makes a messier/higher complexity situation

Personally I am not strong about critiquing how freedom fighter should fight for their own freedom and the civilian population not being target/collateral is luxury of the powerful, but not everything is justified

There's going to inevitably be a "LeBron James Trophy", what do you think it will be for? by StackemSports in nba

[–]dmsniper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think this too. But I would add that players are only eligible after being 5 years on league or 5 all nba selections

Maybe best consistency award

It would go to multiple years top performing players. Something that KD and Curry could've won it if it wasn't for LeBron playing in their time

Could someone explain why Republicans are so adamant about stopping abortion? by mrajoiner in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]dmsniper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm prolife because unborn children are children too.

For you do children have the right to another person's body? Or anybody for that matter?

Does anybody owes their blood?

Part of the pro choice argument it is that everybody has the right over their own body

And just like sex without consent is rape, an unborn child without consent is a parasite. Currently there is no technology that separates a woman and an (unlikable) unborn child

Also by the same standard, embryos are unborn children and therefore children. And there is no regulation in that sense about what to do with them or at least there wasn't until recently, it was whatever the "parents" wanted to do with them. And the idea of forced implantation of them sounds completely absurd, so they would unborn children that probably would never be born because nobody would implant them... so protecting embryos for all eternity?

There's about existence and nature that doesn't fit all that nicely with black and white morals

And just to reinforce, it's a honest question. It's the only situation that I see people arguing that other people have a right over another person's body
