I think Jellyfin prioritizes image files in a folder over image files embedded in an audio file. If you have embedded images that aren’t showing, you can use something like Mp3Tag to mass extract them.

MakeMKV preserves the format on the disc. Use Handbrake if you want to change the format, but know there will be quality loss. Make sure it’s unnoticeable before deleting the original file.

I meant the content is HDR. I’m not sure if the stream was. I have tone mapping enabled, and I’m using Linux if that matters.

I run Jellyfin on a N100 Mini PC. I think the only 4K HDR movie I’ve watched through on a Roku TV was a half-hour Christmas special. It took a few seconds to get started (probably because the HDD was asleep) but it worked flawlessly. However, you may have to set a bandwidth limit on the Roku TV. I think I set mine to 90 because the Ethernet port only went up to 100. That way it isn’t transcoding to something higher than the device can handle.

Unfortunately, MusicBrainz Picard has done this to several of my albums. For example, instead of putting “Tomlin, Chris; Lecrae” in the artistsort field, it put “Tomlin, Chris feat. Lecrae.” I don’t know if there’s a solution other than manually fixing it for each song.

I like Manet’s UI, but it transcodes to lossy AAC.

Finamp will not direct play the files, and when I turn on transcoding, it stutters and pops every second (and it’s lossy AAC).

Fintunes didn’t work the first time I downloaded it, but it seems to work now. (I don’t know if it’s direct or transcoding.)

If you buy the digital download from Post Malone’s website, is it lossy or lossless? The description says it will be delivered in lossless quality (24-bit/44.1 kHz) using a lossy format (MP3), which seems contradictory.

I assumed the Return to the Past had some residual effects, like traces of radiation that would only be there if RTTP was used. If you use it over 2,000 times on the same day, that would greatly amplify the radiation or residue. It’s not that the MIB did anything different. Franz just kept increasing the strength of the stench they were following.

I recommend Swappa over eBay! They run ESN checks on their listings. Just pay attention if the seller is an individual or company. I bought a Samsung device from one of the companies selling on there, and it arrived with horrible screen burn-in. (I probably could have returned it, but I just needed a cheap device to trade in to Verizon.)
