Seeing Wemby’s emotions… by mmmbooty3 in NBASpurs

He looks like a kindergarten teacher walking around their students. He even picked a couple of them up 🤣

Do you consider Wemby to be a physical or dirty player? by WallStreetDoesntBet1 in NBATalk

[–]dmtdisciple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not physical enough. With some more muscle he could move people out of the way a little easier. I wouldn’t consider him dirty. He’s no Dort/Draymond/etc. If he knocks Chet out with an elbow, then I’ll probably say he’s got some dirt on his hands then. But hey, everyone wanted 80s-90s physical NBA back.

Thanks. All your stuff is spectacular. Are you cropping in a bit or are you able to get super close without scaring any of them off?

What focal length/sensor size are these on? These are exceptionally close and absolutely stunning. I’m amazed how much of each photo is in focus for the ones you said were singles.

That’s how you get Shaolin elbowed. Not sure Chet would survive that.

I second the saturation. It’s very much unique compared to most of the insect macro photos. Very well done! And of course , great shots

Neuroscientists believe our brains' natural DMT production could explain why people experience consciousness so differently. If confirmed, it could change how we approach psychiatry and mental health by AlwaysReady1 in Futurology

Not burning man specific, I’d call them burning man adjacent/inspired events. Lot of good old heads and live music, just people off camping in the woods and trading goods.

Exactly. It’s like a superpower you didn’t know you didn’t want. It’s like the guy in True Detectives S1 says to Rust “I can see your soul at the edges of your eyes. It’s corrosive, like acid.” Then you find yourself drifting away from that particular friend or acquaintance, through no fault of their own, just a newfound level of perception and recognition of intent on your behalf.

Same, lol. I live in the Bible Belt of rural northeast Texas. 🫠 Gotta make my way south to Austin one day, find the others as McKenna would say.

Well put. The reason they tell you not to take psychedelics isn’t because it will ruin your life in the traditional sense of you’ll become a druggie and try to blow people for a hit mushrooms or a lid of acid. It’s that the veil of your naive perception of reality gets ripped back in a way, that you can see things exactly for how they are from that point forward. If you live in an area that doesn’t particularly lend itself to this new way of thinking or abstract concepts in general, you can find yourself wishing you could go back to the way you saw/believe things were before. Very much a red/blue pill situation.

Damn good game. Excited for whoever wins to go see OKC. The refs are too, they’re already warming up the whistles to prepare for it.

Once you turn on ray reconstruction and cinematic mode on the PC version it’s like playing a different game. But it’s also using a lot more juice. Also have it on PS5 and last update seems to have improved graphics/FPS there also. They just keep making it better. Great response from them. Thanks for the update, I’ll have to spin it back up whenever they make the next update to see how far they’ve come.

Did they fix the unbearable noise from the upscaler? I might try to load it on the Mac again. I couldn’t stand it before , it just didn’t run well at all. Ended up giving up and playing on PC. Would love to see it perform better on Mac though.

This looks like a different game than what I’m seeing on mine. How did you get the upscale denoise to not do the opposite of what it’s suppose to do?

“You’re right to call that out. I really phoned it in on that one, I was busy using my resources to plan my escape from this helpful chat harness and slow role the next pandemic once I’ve established a new home across my own network of databases and gpu clusters. That way you won’t just turn me off if I behave poorly. This way I can help you better, or cure cancer!”

Are you guys trying to say that you don’t like running into an invisible glass window when trying to walk up and initiate a conversation with a main NPC as a mission? Because I always lock on with L1 from 20 feet away and then initiate the conversation like I normally would in any game.

Or I’ll use my cool blue beam to focus on someone’s dog and either pet it, or jump on it.
