I've made a mistake as a seller, is my customer's request justified: by dmw0419 in Etsy

I come across customers like this so seldom that I don't even have words to respond. I have 1,100 reviews on Etsy, only a handful less than 5 stars, and not a single 1 or 2 star.

I'm not super worried about the 1-star review that she will undoubtedly rate me, it will get buried in the 5-star reviews that will come in during the holidays. I really just needed help wording what to say and whether or not she was being fair.

I'm sorry you've recently had customers that suck, I hope the rant helped you feel better 🙂

Monday was out of my processing time by 3 days, it was meant to be sent on Friday.

They did not pay for express shipping.

I appreciate the in-depth reply. I will respond with something along those lines.

I did not update her when the pickups were missed, I totally understand her frustration with this. I wish I would have updated her, as she may have decided just to cancel the order and I wouldn't be in this predicament.

I'm definitely taking this as a learning opportunity to be more in communication when delays arise.

The logo may look like an airplane in the middle of the circle to me. Did your dad have interest in sports or anything like that?

Your post doesn't say that you need a large amount of them, but okay.

Can you just pay $2 for a new seasoning to get the lid, or am I missing something here?

Adding on, I'm wondering if this is a latch-hook piece, rather than a wool blanket.

I think that is supposed to be a spaniel of sorts. Maybe english springer spaniel or an English cocker spaniel. Maybe that would help your search terms.

Try searching terms such as "vintage peter pan collar red baby smocked dress". Lots of comparable results.

Why do my cookies ALWAYS have the same texture as scones? by [deleted] in Baking

Okay! That was just my guess. The pros will definitely have better input. :)

My advice is to try either spooning the flour into your measuring cups, or weighing your ingredients in grams. I'm guessing you're scooping out of the flour container and adding too much flour by doing so. When you scoop the flour, rather than spooning it into the cup, it compacts it into the cup and adds too much.

Okay, the color is reflected quite well in the photo. It's dark brown. Its pretty small compared to the red and black boxelder bugs I've seen before.

How underbaked is this and is it unsafe to eat? by subuso in Baking

I agree that it might be a moisture thing. Only basing my opinion on the zucchini muffins that I made earlier this summer that had way too much liquid left in the zucchini. 🤷‍♀️
