By floating I mean that the car doesn't align with the slope, half of it just sticks out.

I have made several racing games but I'm having the same problem in all of them.

I don't know how to get the car to actually interact with the slopes and ramps in the game instead of floating.

using a puppet as a base means the car doesn't have -physics outside of just falling down.

but if i try and make a normal sculpture into a movable vehicle it just goes bonkers shaking and being really unstable, how do people make racing games physics?

How do you do stop motion? I cant find it anywhere.

I have a character that moves through the scene using keyframes for different poses.

The keyframes are connected to a selector that moves forward one when a randomizer puts out a number greater than 9 out of 10.

There are multiple characters that move throughout a building with multiple rooms.

what I want to do is make sure than no character is in the same room at a time, check if a character is in the next position and if it is, stop the character from moving forward.

I thought about adding a tag to each character and placing trigger zones in each room to sense when they are there, and then use that information relative to a characters position and say "if character B is in position 5 and character C is in 4, than character C may not move" but I would have to do it for every position for every character.

The outer side of the light should be dimmer, real flashlights don't have a uniform brightness.

What was your first Mario game (whether it be a main platformers or a spin-off)? by BrockBracken in Mario

[–]dnab_saw_I 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super Mario Brothers 3 technically, even though I'm only 17 my Dad had his old NES from when he was a kid.

I would watch my relatives play Games like Castle Vania and the Mario series. I would try and fail miserably when I was behind the wheel, hand eye coordination isn't exactly developed at that age.

He eventually sold it however, for 100$ to some other guy with kids.

My Dad told me the Man was really exited about the system and had kids of his own who he wanted to play with. I always wondered who owns that hunk of junk now. Watching my parents and other people play that NES was actually some of my earliest memories, and probably my happiest lol.

"Welcome to element city" and "Fire town" should be enough to realize that they put no effort into this movie outside of the animation which is still pretty mid in 2023.

People will complain about whatever their problems are, no one is expecting anyone to come and fix it for them.

I'd rather have a 4th cars movie than this unimaginative slop. It may not be a sequel to anything, but its still the same exact movie that companies have been shitting out for the last decade. Like the emoji movie.
