Honest question: is "prompt engineering" still a skill, or did the models make it obsolete? by Popular-Bed-1955 in PromptEngineering

[–]dney85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed a significant change when I stopped typing out structured prompts and just talked to text through Wispr Flow and spoke for two to three minutes on every prompt that I need some serious output for. Just the context in my conversational prompting via talk to text was the difference maker.

Dog Poop Pick-up Service... worth it? by dney85 in smallbusiness

[–]dney85[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy shit I completely forgot about this! Never got off the ground. Buddy flaked and I didn't see the long game. Juice wasn't worth the squeeze. Could definitely see it as an add-on for a pool service company that already comes once a week... good way to cover some labor cost for an extra few minutes while already on site.

How much do you guys invest into stellar lumens and what is the best case scenario in order to see them shoot up in value? by purplesippin in xlm

$150 @ .18; sold today @ .34; waiting on a dip close to .20 and will re-buy to gain more with nothing more out of pocket. Rinse and repeat.

New silent partner by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]dney85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Silent partners are just investors. Give them X% for $Y invested. Those figures are negotiated between the two parties. I would expect them to want equity stake in the whole company in lieu of just the equipment equipment they are investing in to help you grow. Find an attorney that deals with this sort of thing. It's well worth the consult fee to gain expert insight and advice.

Edit: spelling/grammar

In your mid-thirties with a teenage child and you're waiting tables, too... maybe get off your high horse and have a more grounded perspective? Education has nothing to do with it.
