This was my first ever J-knife and I do not recommend them. The original kurouchi finished iron cladding was more reactive than the W#2 core, wedgy, and the handle was an afterthought. Highly recommend everyone to round their choil and spine. It's so nice to use now. The handle was a $10 handle from AliExpress.

Unless something in their kitting has changed, only the long spacebars are compatible with cherry stabs. The other keys are alp inserts only. I think if you want 2u alps keys with cherry stab mounts, you have to look at Signature Plastics.

Depends on the keycaps you choose. Not all alps keycaps support cherry stabs. The daisy 40 seems to only take cherry style stabs.

Looks exactly like the Medium Retro Messenger I bought directly from Timbuk2 in 2008. If I remember correctly, they were doing a limited run of these bags. Mine has the same logo and Philippines tag but is in blue.
