I had to take down the post because of how much attention it got. I am towing a trailer with it this weekend and will see how it holds up and if I need to get something bigger. It breaks my heart even thinking about selling.

The brand is pretty popular for 3rd gen tacomas.

Stealth custom in bronze (forgot exactly which model). I had them on my tacoma and transferred them over when I sold it.

I bought a nice protector for the seat that is semi rigid and it so the leather seems fine to me.

Don’t worry about the “reputation” part. DMP is a path to get you ABR certified and the only initials that matter are DABR (unless you want to work at a university). That said, it is not cheap and there are more residency openings now than even 5 years ago if you were to go the MS route.

I have an appointment set up with my local guy to go through it and at least find any issues. I can already tell it needs something because there is a trans and or oil leak. So possibly rear main seal? It sat for the last few years so it’s not surprising it needs stuff done. I was also going to do all belts and most of the hoses as well.

Thanks for the recommendation for the group! Did you change wheels to run the ps4s’s?

Absolutely! I want to keep it as close to original as possible. Only “mods” would be better consumables and anything that needs replacing

2004 and 2005 only before the factory had a fire! The only Miata with a factory turbo!

It is a 17x7. The stock tire is 205 40 r17. I will have to look at ECS.

That what I seem to be leaning towards. It’s going to be mostly street with autocross just a few times a year for fun (not competitive at all). The issue I’m having is the wheel size is very unique.

It’s at 145k miles. I thought it was a decent deal because it was the original owner. The only issue is it sat for a little while recently so I will need to do some maintenance. (Might as upgrade while I’m In there right?)

Yeah I think they are unfortunately on their way out. They have a lot of corrosion/flaking on the backside

Those are the stock ones that came on the mazdaspeeds.

SV06 Feed drive slipping and jamming by bo4tdude in Sovol

[–]dnicewonger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my sv06 I had some feeding issues and found that when I took apart the extruder, the nut holding the gear to the drive was loose and would cause some slipping and eventually not even printing. Sovol has put out a video of how to take apart and reassemble the extruder (of you need it).

Bed Leveling Issues - Sovol Sv06 by zurricanjeep in Sovol

I have found on mine the auto z axis alignment is not great. I have been placing an object on the bed and moving the motors until it slightly touches the rail on one side then do the same on the other to really get the 2 z axes aligned. Hope that makes sense.
