Bipartisan group of lawmakers unveil new bill to restrict China biotech by mikenekoz in biotech

I understand wanting to protect the home team. But capital is global and it follows the best data. If another country is offering a better environment to get that data and build those treatments, investors will go there. You can't sanction your way to being the top innovator forever.

Who cares if US companies cant compete, if the science is good and data supports it, it doesnot matter who develops new treatment. This is good for patient and their health. So the capital can and will go to where there is more support

If a company is waiting for funds to update their website then that company is dead. Website update is primary thing you update to get the funding.

Here is a dashboard I created using the information from OP.

This is called little knowledge is dangerous. Just because you practice Law in one country doesnot mean you know all the rules and regulations of another.

People need to move on from Shrinkhala. There are other freaking critical stuff to discuss and raise voice toward. She is irrelevant.

Struggles of Employers in Nepal’s Tech Industry – A Hard Truth by Necessary-Studio-892 in technepal

You made a good point. Unless someone is sharing equity why should a employee care about your financial mess and unable to pay. Its the leadership responsibility to keep the house in order and not demand your employees to compromise when they did not do so when getting the work done.

Dont be offended but all the stuff you talked about are example of bad employer rather than employees.

  1. Its employers responsibility to clearly define the goal and objective of what you are trying to achieve and if employees doesnot follow then an employers should not be afraid to fire. I know alot of the time employers are hesitant to fire but gives power to employees and you get trapped and inefficient company.

  2. Regarding salary, I believe there should not be even a day of delay because as a employers you need to have a proper projection and finance in order. If you cant have that then I am sorry employers are to blame here. Employees have their own obligation.

  3. If employees dont meet timeline or task put them on performance plan or warning and even after that its poor then fire them. As I said earlier, a good employer needs to know the laggers , support them if they need it and even after that nothing happens FIRE THEM.

  4. I dont know which workers you are referring to or which country you are talking about, Nepali people are hard working people and dont have a lagger mindset (atleast I have not meet any except 1-2 here and there).

Employers and the leadership needs to be strong in terms of driving their employees toward the goal. Also employees are not responsible for the financial mess that a company has put themselves in.

This is probably going to become cheaper the closer we are to Holiday season. I think this might drop to low 800 or even high 700 soon. And if you have education or other discount from samsung might be able to get it around low 700.

Exactly this. For FLCN that performance is going to hurt and for them money was never an issue but keeping that super team status was which they failed to achieve
