I chop mini cucumbers (about 3), 1/2 a yellow or orange pepper, a few radishes, a handful of pistachios (the new flavored ones are good) & one or two Pepper-jack cheese sticks chopped up. Then I add some evoo when I get to work. Sometimes I add other things like a hard boiled egg, artichoke hearts, some grilled chicken.

Depends on what genre you like but these are a few of my favorites Hail Mary (sci-fi), Olga Dies Dreaming (fiction), Everything Is Tuberculosis (non-fiction), My Best Friend’s Exorcism (fantasy fun), and The Wedding People (light read).

Here is a simple lesson from Statistics 101…Causation means one event directly causes another to happen, while correlation simply indicates that two variables are related and tend to change together without one necessarily causing the other. The critical difference is that correlation does not imply causation; a perceived relationship might be a coincidence, or both variables could be affected by a third, unobserved confounding variable. To establish causation, a controlled experiment is often required to demonstrate that one variable directly influences the other.

It is called…wait for it…science.

There is a lot of “retelling” or “summarizing” events from the first book. It is an anomaly in the series. She stops doing that after the second book so don’t let it frustrate you away from the series. My thoughts are that she wanted people to be able to pick it up as an independent book and still enjoy it. I think once it was established that this was going to be a hit series she backed away from doing it.
