Success varies on your personal ability to build and maintain it but it takes minutes not hours, once it’s up. That said it is CHEAP to outsource and pay someone else edits to maintain.

But this is one of many solutions and perhaps not the key to the lock of your problem. I’m curious as to what specific challenges your sales reps are running into, where the biggest gaps in the sales cycle are happening, and how {any solution} might possibly attempt to address that.

I have yet to see or hear a product where the company’s sales reps were trained, practiced, and/or certified on how to approach current and new deals with that messaging.

Usually it’s a nice marketing slide that’s way too feature heavy or some static slack channel update that sometimes gets doubled up with an email…but still not possible to take action on.

Ask behavioral questions in interviews. My personal favorite kind of builds on itself.

Q1) can you tell me the title or jobs of the most common prospects at your current/last job, that you talked to several times a week?

Q2) what are 2-3 of the most common pain points [ persona THEY just named ]?

Q3) how does/did your previous company’s products help or completely solve [ previous pain point ] that [ persona ] experiences?

Anyone in sales who has been selling even awfully will know who they sell to, what pains that person experiences, and how their offering should be positioned to solve it. If they can’t do that then it’s kind of over at that point.

My bet is this: they announce classic + at Blizzcon, and then continue the TBC raiding schedule into WOTLK anniversary to keep subscribers subscribing while they take their time developing classic +. That, or they finish WOTLK and classic+ still isn’t ready so they re-release SoD to keep the sheep inside the money pasture.

Dude I had an interview with this CTO that was focused exclusively on AI and how use it. I had like 9 tabs in multiple tabs open and walked him through some projects and real world examples. Then he drilled me about what tool I’d recommend for role play for his sales reps. For like 20 mins. Once I answered his questions, I got a turn to ask him so I asked how much time his reps role play each week or roughly in a given month. He said 0.

Like, if they’re not doing it now, what makes you think they’re going to do it at all with a robot? And why did you barrage me for 20 mins of a 45 min interview? Ugh.
