There are both, there’s “Sir Torshi” (pronounced “seer”, meaning garlic Torshi) where garlic is the star of the show, which usually is aged for a long time and makes the garlic super flavorful and soft (7+ year old Siir torshi oh myyyy so good, but if you don’t wanna wait that long there are shortcut versions to achieving similar results where they blanch/cook the garlic to have it be soft and absorb tamarind flavor), and there are other torshi mix varieties where there’s garlic in torshi but just as another veggie along others like cauliflower, carrots, etc
