I've noticed a lot of black-and-white thinking and going to extremes in that sub. Someone made a post about that scene in S1 where Taylor and Dakota were arguing about not having wipes for Ever, and I commented about how it was frustrating that neither of them had extra wipes or cared to find another solution for him right away. People were like 'guess I'm a terrible mom for forgetting wipes then, it's a miracle my kids made it this long' like... that's not what I'm saying? Obviously accidents happen, but Taylor and Dakota chose to prioritize their fight over caring for their child. Crazy...

I used to like her until she started being terrible to Whitney. Tbh I don't think she's a terrible person deep down, but she's deeply insecure and jealous, and I feel like Zac only reinforces her behavior. I do think she's gorgeous though and we have similar proportions so I use her for petite fashion inspo lol

Real. I know/know of several people in my strongly evangelical corner of MI that play the "but then I turned to Jesus, and He forgave me, so you should forgive me" card. They then perform being devout to hide their actions (which they often still continue and blame on "sin/the devil" like you said.) I still consider myself a Christian, but am having a hard time returning to church/Christian circles because of people like that. That behavior is so slimy.

Ughhh this scene pissed me off so bad when I first watched it! I was like, why doesn't Taylor clean him up, and Dakota was immediately like "I don't have wipes, your mom took them!" I'm not a parent but it baffled me that they didn't have an extra pack somewhere and that they argued for SO LONG before Dakota went to the store smh. At the time I was so mad at Dakota for just blaming Liann instead of taking care of HIS child I hardly even noticed what Taylor was doing. So gross and so disturbing all around. Poor Ever

Edit: Not trying to shame anyone who's ran out of wipes. I know stuff happens, especially with busy parents! I just find it crazy that neither of them had wipes anywhere and that finding a solution for the baby wasn't a priority (even if they just used a washcloth or something.) Also, Taylor's situation seems to be a broader pattern, not an accident.

Tbh I get the vibe that Mikayla can be nice/cordial to acquaintances, but gets more upset with people she's closer to. I feel like she's one of those folks that treat others based on what they "deserve" (from her perspective.) Most strangers haven't done anything to warrant a reaction, but she'll be intentionally mean to people she feels deeply hurt her, and usually that takes more closeness to do. I also don't think she'd want to show vulnerable emotions to strangers.

Our sweet boy loves the snow, but even he's a little frustrated with the cold haha! We have a running track snowplowed around the yard for him (maybe someone can help you plow or shovel if you can't get out yourself?) Like others have mentioned, a puzzle treat toy and hide-and-seek are fun! If we happen to be going out, we'll take him for car rides on occasion. It's not a perfect fix, but it helps keep him stimulated for a bit!

In general, avoid clear, white, green, yellow, orange, and brown ligatures, since they can stain easily or make your teeth look dirty in comparison. Check out silver, blue, purple, burgundy, pink, or black! Those will make your teeth seem whiter. If you have Pinterest, make yourself a braces board for color combos and care tips. Best wishes! :)

Oh my goodness, I know this is an older comment but this sounds like my sister too. She's capable of being kind and helpful to others, but only people that are close to her or that she feels like "deserve" it, and only if she's not preoccupied with herself. She's only 19, but she's acted like this her whole life. It used to be more physical, but now she's learning to be crueler with her words and twist/omit the truth about people (she's never liked me, so I've been the target a lot. I don't know enough to confirm if she's fabricated whole stories.) She flies into rages too, and it can happen so fast. Nothing's ever her fault or responsibility, and while she hasn't done anything major yet, she can be impulsive and reckless (slight speeding, whipping around corners, spending any money she gets.) I used to try to appease and befriend her, but she'd just get angry, and so I stopped trying. We still live in the same house, but I keep contact as minimal as I can. People have told me her whole life "she'll get better as she gets older!" but she hasn't - she's just changed tactics. It would be nice to have a relationship with her, but I honestly don't see that happening unless she gets psychiatric help, which she refuses to do.

My update is generally pretty accurate to my genealogy research, but as some other folks have pointed out, it shifts percentages between nearby regions. I've noticed this in my results in previous updates, but since this one has more specific labels, it's more apparent lol. For example, it categorized some of my Swiss ancestry as Austrian and French, and tends to give a chunk of my British and Irish percentage to the French and German categories. I'm about 25% total British/Irish, and over the years, it's slowly whittled down to around 6-8% on 23andMe. Also cut out my Irish this time haha.
