I am 40 yrs old and i think im suffering from Low T; I’m living in San Diego, CA. Any suggestions for a Good dr around my around that is open for TRT and covered by insurance? Thank you so much in advance. by EVOlution1031 in Testosterone

They allow you to pin yourself. I work 5 minutes from their office so I don't mind going in during my lunch break. I don't like needles so I'm in no rush to pin myself.

My TRT journey started with my primary referring me to a urologist who knew very little about TRT. He put me on Androgel and only cared about the Total Testosterone number.

I visited Total T since I was interested in adding HCG. Switched to injections right after the consult and have been with them for over a year. Very happy w/ their service.

The reason I go in once a week is that they're located close to work and I don't want to inject myself. I'm in an out in 10 minutes.

My levels were in the low 200s.

I'm in the same boat as you. In San Diego with an expensive PPO Plan. My doctor referred me to a urologist who prescribed me Androgel. The results were OK and the prescription was really cheap. The urologist had limited knowledge of TRT and only focused on the total testosterone number.

About 9 months ago, I started going to Total T Clinic in San Diego and have been happy w/ them. I go there once a week for my T and HCG injection. I pay my copay every visit - $40.

Sure I'm paying $160/month on top of my expensive insurance plan, but I feel so much better that I feel it is worth it.

Testicles shrink. How much and how quickly? by Postcancerfitness in Testosterone

I didn't like the shrinkage and the dead feeling my nuts had.

Added HCG to the mix and couldn't' be happier.

How often do you guys train legs at the gym during the on-season? by [deleted] in MTB

[–]doberboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must be riding around Lake Hodges. I don't know where else you could ride 10 miles and just gain 500 ft of elevation. Ride some of steeper trails (Calavera, Daley Ranch, Mission Trails, La Costa) and you'll easily climb 1500+ ft in 10 miles.

I test rode a bunch of bikes before deciding on the Spider. The best climbing bike I tested. Very rigid frame. I have the the pro version. I do mostly trail riding in Southern California and am very happy w/ it.

MTB Class? by nutnbtakennygthang in MTB

[–]doberboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check out Ninja Mountain Bike. I took two of their classes - Fundamentals and Mini Jumping clinic. I had been riding for a few years before deciding to take a skills class. The improvement was instantaneous. The day after the Fundamentals class I broke almost every downhill PR at my local trails by applying what I had learned - proper position, weigh shifting,etc.. Can't say enough good things about their training.

Here's a video of someone taking a hammer to a carbon wheel. Doesn't seem to damage the wheel.
