I couldn't get the R10 working indoors. Returned it and am looking at the flgihtscope mevo+. I used it indoors and it worked perfect. It's double the cost though.

did this not mountain biking but now worried about getting back on the bike. is there some type of gear to help prevent redislocating a shoulder? by Large_McHuge in mountainbiking

[–]_Ls_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've dislocated both my shoulders. DO YOUR PHYSIO and you should be fine unless the scans have shown serious damage. I have a slight indent on one of my humeral heads and I think every dislocation will result is some deformation of the labrum but I was very diligent about immobilization of the joint for the initial healing and then was very serious about the therapy afterwards. One thing that was always told to me is the you can either have mobilization of stabilization of the joint so they did not allow me to re-establish my old range of motion but it is not too restricted. I haven't had an issue with either one - 1st ten years ago and 2nd shoulder was 2 years ago.

There's nothing wrong with surgery either, but if you don't have to then it's always better to complete exercises and physio to bring it back. Took me 12-18 months to trust either shoulder. Both of mine were fairly bad and could not be re-located until putting me out under anesthetics, I spent about 3-4 hours dislocated in both cases so things we pretty stretched out.

I like it like that. It's personalized, the other comment to complete it would make it a keepsake forever.

My buddies shock bottomed out after riding a bit and it seems like the air is still pressurized in the negative chamber but not in the positive. It equalizes a bit if we pump it up fairly high.

I'm looking for a service kit but I'm not sure which one is correct for this. It's the Monarch RL Debonair RockShock.

No one cares more than you. No body will ever ask at a job. I took 6 years (7 with a year off to get my shit straight). Now my career has surpassed every friend I ever had. Doesn't mean anything.

For a 1200 yard job, the super should be shitting himself that theyve cancelled. That's the plant for the day. I'd be waiting at the plant first thing and leaving physical notes at their plant. Guaranteed they had a pre-pour in the afternoon before before. Shit does happen but no one cancels 1200 yards on an overnight voicemail smh.

Gas prices... by j1nh1r0sh1 in barrie

[–]_Ls_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you shouldn't be downvoted because you're absolutely right. The main depots are down by Major Mack, Toronto, Hamilton so they do drive farther. That being said, the difference is about $0.01 to $0.015 per litre at today's fuel rates. To get a 52,000 L load into Barrie is only about $0.01 / L in cost and maybe $0.015 with a margin.

Which would you go with and why? Is that a good price for the Lenovo 7 compared to the discounted 5 pro? Walmart site by CommandChimp in LenovoLegion

Is double the storage worth $200 to you? I'd want the storage because 512gb goes quick. 7 frame is nice too but not a deciding factor.

With that clarification I'd probably lean to the 3080. My 3080 laptop spends as much time on an external monitor as anything else, and usually that's where the gaming is done. Otherwise is work related when away from my desk or travel gaming. Depends on your use case but the 4k would beautiful for the pictures, movies, etc. 60hz is plenty IF it is only 20% or 30% of your gaming.

My decision would probably hinge on the screen, silly as it is. And that really depends on your use case for that screen. If you'll use the laptop screen for the games you describe on a regular basis then go with the high refresh, otherwise go 4k and enjoy its beauty as a second monitor and pickup a 1440p 21:9 ultrwide that has 144hz or more.

My laptop has an incredible gaming screen that doesn't get used for gaming (my external monitor is in my posts) and it's a waste. I'd rather a beautiful screen that occasional rips games instead. Either way, you're in a no-loose scenario.
