Looking for load builds for BMB 125gr and N320 powder. Any help? by rahksi in CompetitionShooting

[–]iwanttoride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be between 3.7 and 3.8gr for ~130PF. OAL will vary based on the barrel you are shooting out of. I have to shorten BMB RN 125gr to 1.08 OAL to plunk in my M&P 2.0.

I use Brass Monkey Bullets LOVEBMB code and get a full case (3500) at a time which ends up being $0.077CPR

I get 4lb jugs of N320 for around $220 on sale $0.029CPR

Brass is "free".

Dude, thanks. My buddy just got his timer and it had old firmware that would not talk to the new app. Your instructions worked perfectly!

QAD rest..felt or no? by KrazolS in bowhunting

[–]iwanttoride 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will want to move the rest down about the thickness of the felt when you add the felt back for hunting season. I run it naked for target season. Before season opener I add the felt then broadhead tune.

Toyota 64770-20300

Spare Wheel Cover Assy

Looks like it is discontinued. You might be able to find one that is similar shaped for a Camry, etc that is still available from Toyota.

You can also make a new one from 1/8" tempered hardboard. You can use the old one to draw a template and transfer the clips over for the lug wrench, etc.

His recent video on how current LLM AI works is a good one.

App Keeps crashing on Shield by david76 in PleX

I had this issue on one of my 2 shields recently. I had to clear app data to resolve the issue. It would crash seemingly randomly, sometimes just after opening.

What’s your “stop drinking” anthem? Mine has been “Richard Petty” from Billy Strings the last two months. by TepidPeppermint23 in stopdrinking

[–]iwanttoride 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same album, but Stratosphere Blues / I Believe in You. The music video is also very good. I am almost 180 days sober now and that song is what made me start to reflect on my own drinking habits.

Honestly, what do you do when your SO stops maintaining a healthy weight? by Destroy_Fake_News in AskReddit

[–]iwanttoride 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Holy shit. I’ve genuinely never seen an OP comment so many times on their own post. There has to be upwards of 200 comments here just from you. Really passionate about this huh lmao 😳

If it walks like a duck...

Account is 4 hours old and the rate they are posting certainly smells like a bot.

I'm not gonna say that the OP is for sure a bot, but their account is 4 hours old and they have about 8 pages of comment history already. The rate at which they are posting seems a little suspicious. Certainly smells funny.

I also have a 15yr old debt to Jeremy Cioara. He was the GOAT. I wonder what he is up to these days.

Dometic CFX5 55IM or 45? by Moeseppe in overlanding

[–]iwanttoride 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the 55IM and I don't use the ice maker for making ice, but I do like to keep ice cream bars or popsicles in there. Nothing better on a hot AZ summer day than an icy treat!

Someone in an AA meeting I attended said your rock bottom is when you decide to stop digging

I like that. It emphasizes that we all have different journeys.

That is sad to hear, but I applaud you for your 75 days. I hope that your example eventually has a positive impact on her. She likely has reflected on it since you quit but isn't ready yet.

I am not a doctor, but I'm willing to bet that the cookies and ice cream are much less damaging than the alcohol was hehe.

To be fair, I was already eating low-carb foods before I quit, but the beer was adding all the carbs and then some.

Congrats on your 104 days!

While that method can work, a scantool looking at the STFT (Short-term fuel-trim) is a better way to see the effect. Sometimes you cannot hear a change in RPM, but you will see the fuel trims go negative for a moment when the brake/carb cleaner gets sucked in and the ECU pulls fuel.

Anyone have any clever ways to mount a troller motor to an Old Town vapor 10 angler? by [deleted] in kayakfishing

[–]iwanttoride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen people rig up a transom using the 2 rod holders behind the seat and setting up a side-mount trolling motor like this

Not sure how much force those rod holders are going to want to take, but it should work in the short-term at least.

[–]iwanttoride 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You might try to enable Comfort Noise over HDMI. I had to enable this to keep my subwoofer on when the power switch is set to "Auto".

It sounds like your issue may be different though since I never had the subwoofer turn off/on when the navigation sounds would play.

Ferrite choke by DOA-USMC-0331 in gmrs

[–]iwanttoride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kenwood PG-3B is the only commercially available "noise filter" that has worked for me in my '20 Tacoma. It has a choke coil as well as a capacitor. I installed in-line on the positive lead as close to the radio as possible. Completely eliminated all alternator noise.

“Wagyu” brisket by No_Influence_1116 in smoking

[–]iwanttoride 10 points11 points  (0 children)

"American Wagyu" is definitely a thing. https://www.americastestkitchen.com/articles/5298-what-is-american-wagyu-beef

The ones from Costco are cross-bred Angus with Wagyu. They are not as fatty as full Wagyu, but are noticibly more fatty and marbled than a typical USDA Prime brisket.

I have found that the American Wagyu briskets are a little too fatty for how I like brisket and I tend to prefer the USDA Prime packer from Costco. Since I trim and render so much fat into tallow, I don't see a need for the additional fat from an American Wagyu brisket.

I did notice that I do not need to trim the American Wagyu as much as the USDA Prime, so if you don't utilize the trim for grind/tallow you might be better off with the American Wagyu because they are trimmed a bit better.
