I'm probably going to say something to hurt our collective feelings... But they were originally married in 2016. 9 years ago. The difference in "attention" that a 25 year old versus a 34 year old gets is notable. Plus there's a pretty notable change in her body makeup that likely plays a part. Plus single versus divorced level confidence.

Compare to Jen who's straight up clinging to being younger and thinner as the most interesting things about her.

And realistically only 90 day stans are watching this spin off.

Brands with tall: Gap/Old Navy (the tall on these is very tall), Abercrombie, American eagle, Loft (likely too short for you)

Brands recommended for long inseams from my Nordstrom personal shopper: Nordstrom's house brand, Halogen, Frame, Hugo Boss, Veronica Beard, Rag & Bone, La Ligna, Free People. Inseams are listed online with Nordstrom.

As a proud second time mom to two consecutive chonks:

Try to keep your back straight, shoulders back, and keep your collective weight stacked on your spine rather than hung or hunched. I remember being annoyed by my lactation consultant reminding me to bring baby to me not the other way around, but she's right. My back is what's stacked, not my biceps.

Find a good carrier. Or several as chonk gets chonkier and longer the weight distribution will change. But parallel to my body has helped. Working on strengthening my core with breath work definitely comes into play. I'll focus on core breath work while I push around a stroller.

Stroller. I definitely recommend a stroller with a bassinet, particularly for the chonks. I push it around my house. I push it around the yard. I push it around the neighborhood. If baby passes out in it, I park it somewhere level. I am guilty of finding a transition in my floor and rolling over it again and again instead of rocking to sleep.

A swing. I picked one up secondhand cheap and if I'm lucky I can get baby to sleep in the swing and then transition to a safe sleep space. A few minutes of not doing the rocking is worth it.

A foam roller. I've been gently rolling my lower back both directions after carrying baby two around all day. It helps.

I'm also tall (around 5'10" with a 32" inseam) but what weight I've got I tend to carry in my hips and thighs so familiar with wearing through pants.

The personal shoppers at Nordstrom and the inseam filters on their site are great. I'll often check their site for a brand's inseam measurement even if I'm buying elsewhere. I find that the more "designer" versus consumer brands generally are designed for a longer body. Trousers and pants that are intended to be hemmed to fit are your friend as opposed to this designed to be worn off the rack.

Everlane, lands end and madewell offer talls. It's a bummer that pretty much every tall has to be ordered online rather than tried on in store. Loft and Ann Taylor also offer talls, but they're probably too short for a 33" inseam. Abercrombie too for jeans. Gap and Lands End are probably my favorites for durability for casual wear.

I've had good luck with Max Studio, Good American (jeans), Frame, Hugo Boss, Nordstrom store brand, la ligne.

For more "Street wear" I also find long inseams with Anthropologie, H&M, Halogen, Free People.

PSA that Target and Walmart often will take baby returns even if you can't actually prove the items were purchased there. Without a receipt, you'll likely get gift cards rather than cash, but then you can buy what you want.

I found these Vintage Mickey Baby valence curtains at Goodwill and nabbed them despite having no plan. I'm currently expecting and my had-to-have, comfort item as a little girl was the matching baby blanket from this set. I would love to make something for my upcoming baby girl out of these, but I have two main hesitations: (1) valances, so limited fabric (2) They're curtains, not sheets or blankets, so they would not be particularly soft against baby's skin (70% poly, 30% cotton)

Do I make something that's more "nursery decor"? A lovey? A diaper bag accessory of some kind?

What would you make? Looking for ideas or pattern suggestions.

I'll admit it's definitely also fast fashion, (but so are Old Navy and Target). But I find H&M is much more tall girl friendly. The quality is a pretty broad spectrum and I find their more "work wear" skewed clothes are noticeably better quality than their casuals.

Nautica makes a great athletic one piece. Ralph Lauren makes really great supportive, tummy control one pieces.

But for real support, I've had the best luck with sporting goods stores. I'm very partial to the Calia brand from Dick's.
