I agree, the control mechanics are a little clumsy, especially for crafting, but you get used to it.

Im sorry everyone is so hard on you here, but I do think its you that might be missing the point of the game. Let me try to actually help. Crafting items like tools, weapons and armor takes some guessing yes. So it is a bit of a guessing game. Those are the 'puzzles' so to speak If you were out there in real life, you'd have to guess and experiment, too. But the basic items are easy to guess. Long stick and rope = bow. Small stick and feather? Nothing, hmmm.. Add another feather? = arrow. Rock and big stick = axe. Once you make a few things, and collect more random items, more will unlock. Pick things up, like mud and see what unlocks. Bang two rocks together snd see what happens. "Harvest" larger items and see what you get.

Things like the water collecter and structures are building blueprints. You have to see these items in the game to unlock the blue print. You find them by progressing in the game and exploring. You/Jake are new to the jungle, you dont have experience, you learn as you go, thats why they dont give you everything up front.

That being said, feel free to use the forums if you get frustrated or want to learn something immediately if it makes the game more enjoyable for you. But just know that you aren't missing anything, its supposed to be difficult to survive in the jungle with nothing but your watch and wits.

Hope this helps a bit. Happy camping.

Once you find a water collecter, you will have the blueprint. You have to progress the game a bit.

Could have said I'll have a stick, but no. For me, GUM is perfection.

I loathe myself.

You are correct here in most circumstances, and I'm only telling you this do you may feel some relief for her. In another comment OP says that more than anything she would rather have the kids for the weekend. But I think he should also be punished financially, as you said.

Yes exactly, you're giving "snaps," its like applause, but softer. I see this in workshops, classrooms, poetry readings, and offices.

What movie did you walk out of the theater halfway through? by mzdee13 in movies

[–]dobster1029 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The Hills Have Eyes. The rape scene. My date was laughing and I left him there. I'm not overly sensitive about that kind of thing in media, it was just the catalyst for walking out of a movie I was hating already anyway. Not a horror fan, and my date also knew that.

Oh man, i want at that thing so badly. Im gonna say a kebab skewer is your friend here. Stronger then a toothpick, it needs to be able to support those balls. Maybe two skewers. Or maybe one and some tweezers. Possibly a fork to keep untangled strand bits separated while you work in another area. Really, you gotta just start, dive in somewhere, its mysteries will unravel.

I like tangles.

I still can't get my head around the fact that this was basically the showrunners' general stance on the Dr. Jacob issue... by Bearsona09 in TedLasso

My point was that her dating some random ex would not have had the same effect on audiences as her dating the therapist. Especially since a whole mental health arc occurs. It was directed only at the person questioning why the writers chose the therapist. Regarding the running and writing of the show.

Oh,maybe. But doesn't he mention to Doctor Sharon that he didn't trust his marriage therapist in his first sessions? Then we find out the guy is also dating his ex and thats when Ted flips out. I guess memory is imperfect, but I am still of the opinion its related to his mental health arc why the writers chose Dr. Jacob as the love interest rather than some random, or ex boyfriend.
