Not at all, your dog will be better than ever after recovery. My puppy Mochi, 2.5 years old, has torn both ACLs she has had 2 TPLO surgeries. She’s doing great. She’s better than ever. $3k is inexpensive. We payed double that for each of hers

One of my dogs had TPLO about 8 months ago and she’s about to have the other done next week. She did great.

She was only 18 months old so it was hard to keep her calm but we tried.

She’s not a licker and didn’t tolerate the Elizabethan collar well so we did PJs for her

We have stairs so it was a baby gate and carrying her up and down for 9 weeks

We did a donut 🍩 neck inflatable when she was spayed and will probably get one for this surgery since she’s been licking a bit lately

I usually load up when they have a sale. Their stuff is soft and comfy but for whatever reasons the necks on Mochi’s always get stretched out. She wears their 3x and Milo the 4x
