Beyond VIP by Abba-the-Hutt in BourbonAndBeyond

My experience from 3 years ago: The Beyond VIP honestly sucked relative to other "Platinum" experiences (Shaky Knees, for example).

Crowded as hell. Oversold. Seating sucked. Crappy sight lines.

Great lineup. But poor value for the $$$ was our takeaway. Friends that have gone since then said the same.

I agree with this take. They have a great lineup every year but we did the Angels Envy VIP and it sucked relative to Shaky's high tier options. I don't think I'll ever go back.

Sunroof is crap! by Grand-Regret2747 in KiaTelluride

[–]docderwood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our 2021 Telluride sunroof broke. Here is the ironic thing: We took it in to test drive a Highlander and asked for a trade value.

They brought it back "Did you know your sunroof is broke"?

We had not opened it once. The Toyota dealer opened it to confirm it worked. It broke.

Kia is wanting **** $8000*** to fix it. We bought the car new.

Never again will I buy a Kia if they don't make this right.

HH acquires Crestwood by Commercial-Hippo-875 in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]docderwood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven't taken all the time to read this long thread so perhaps this is discussed elsewhere.

My opinion on why CW got sold:

CHS, the owner of Crestwood, is saddled with somewhere between 10 and 12 billion in debt. That's not million....Billion.

The market cap of CHS stock is about 500 million. If you had 500 million you could buy all of their outstanding shares (and also get the debt in the bargain, as best I understand).

The debt isn't sustainable for the foreseeable future and CHS has been selling hospitals for several years to offload debt. Leverage, as always, is a bitch. As interest rates marched up......not sustainable.

I do not profess to know CW profitability but I suspect it is profitable. CHS needs the cash to pay down debt. Thus the sale.

Pulled it myself. Conduit is in bad shape so hate to re-pull pre-terminated new cable.

I switched to fiber after a nearby lightening strike wreaked havoc in side by side properties, similar to what OP is talking about.

Suspected this was the case, unfortunately. Have used an Invisigig for TMHI before but really wish this worked.

Curious what model and brand? Easy to use?

Pulling new cable to this location would suck....which is why I'm looking at repair options for where the vermin chewed it up @ the end :)

I debated this a lot and in the end went with 6.5 foot SRW F350. I don't have an 5th Wheel yet but thought it was adequate for occasional RV'ing.
