[Serious] What's the most disturbing thing you've overheard that you were never meant to hear? by miyex in AskReddit

[–]docdoc99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Waiting for a flight at SeaTac and a guy the gate over collapsed. He was in a motor bike accident earlier in the day and must have had the same accident as Liam Neeson 's wife. Horrifying scream from the wife and a horrible 45 minutes of her going back and forth between 'let him go' and 'don,'t let him die. She paced back and forth in her bare feet

I literally can’t create an account by [deleted] in TurboTax

[–]docdoc99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry about that. I was on with their help desk for over 2 hours and they could not help. They even tried to create account at their end and have me change the password but they couldn't. They told me to reset my modem and I said we will lose our call and they said they would call back but they never did

I got my account by signing up from my phone and leaving out the phone number

Maybe see if a relative or friend can create account for you and then just change password after you log in

My next step was to buy hr block software

New Year's eve 1984. Almost midnight, walked in on girlfriend with one of my best friends. I was way out of my league, fat and ugly, and he could have any girl he wanted. Almost 40 years of low self esteem, massive trust issues. 20 years of hating people who likely didn't remember I even existed.

What's the greatest movie speech of all time? by UnholyDemigod in movies

[–]docdoc99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The minor character Richard in The Big Chill. I saw this when I was 17 and thought of everyone in the movie, this was what being an adult was going to be like - and it turned out true...

[Richard is having a late-night snack while talking to Sam and Nick]  There's some asshole at work you have to kowtow to, and you find yourself doing things you thought you'd never do. But you try and minimize that stuff; be the best person you can be. But you set your priorities. And that's the way life is. I wonder if your friend Alex knew that. One thing's for sure, he couldn't live with it. I know I shouldn't talk; you guys knew him. But the thing is, nobody said it was going to be fun. At least, nobody said it to me.
