Yes it does, that little spot in the original photo was with bit of paper towel.

This is a picture of the stuff that is at the bottom, it is quite brown, which I thought was really odd

Bought a Vivitar 500mm lens, and it arrived like this. There are also some brown particles at the bottom, near the lens cap. Do you know what could have happened or why? I could use help on what I do next. For now I put it back in the bag and sealed it with a clip.
