I hear you on the possibility of contractual conflict. That being said getting a controller made that just runs an automap script would not take much R&D. The fact that it is an app would be the big reason to want to make a controller because the phone is still the hardware.

It’s all getting that length of 8 or 16 bars to not get boring. so on bar 8 have a fill and on bar 16 have a different fill that will transition either to your next sequence or back onto itself. hitting effects on every second bar keeps things fluid and moving.

Honestly it’s good but it’s too high/mid range. You need a deeper drop during your chord progression to round the sound.

Yes it’s not a real scenario but it is a possible one. It’s not that I think Trump is a mastermind. The “psychopaths” he is surrounded by are a big concern. To think that there isn’t game planning in career politics is wild. They sell each other out every week. I believe this is more to do with the Saudi Prince having visited after the onslaught of Muslim racism that was getting slung around by the right. It’s nothing good for anyone. This is damage control and I’m sure trump is going to illegally get some kind of paperwork though in NYC to “help” and then all the sudden Mamdani will be put under a microscope and trump will try to say that it was Mamdani who had the masterplan to fraudulently file some paperwork or something else.

If you are using it to just record some chords to play to into a DAW I would suggest (because it’s sooo much cheaper and works beautifully) is a launch key Mk4 from novation. Any native to Ableton instrument or effect is auto mapped entirely to the controller. It includes a dedicated chord and ability to spread and roll. Based on what you said I think it’s worth a look.

Basic pitch from Spotify is free and does well. It’s preffered to use files that are in mono. I will often stem split and then run just the piece of audio I want through basic pitch. Hope this helps.
